But Illium is assieged by REAPERS. How could we go there in the DLC?!

Post-ending rebuilt?

If it were post-ending, why would it be on Illium? It would be more logical to be on the Citadel or Earth.

If it's post ending, it couldn't be on the Citadel because most of it is in ruins from the red/blue/green beam. Same with Earth; it's mostly a wasteland. It'd have to be somewhere that isn't as decimated, like Illium.

Having said that, it ain't gonna be post-ending DLC.

Except that post-ending doesn't mean 5 minutes after the ending.

Anyway, we can't get too excited. My recent experience with AC Initiates got people so hyped for the announcement of AC4 but ended up just being an alpha of the new version of the website.

From ME3's planet description for Illium.

"Reaper
forces met a surprising amount of resistance at Illium. Its leaders
were paranoid about keeping their fortunes, and were influential in both
Terminus and Citadel space. They acquired a large defense fleet and a
high number of fission weapons, and in the brief space battle, used them
on the Reaper fleet's troop transports rather their near-impervious
capital ships. As a result, the inevitable ground invasion has been
slowed to a crawl as the Reapers manufacture more troops"

Turns out, Illium was the one world in the whole damned galaxy that was ready for the Reapers.

Interesting. Wonder if he's essentially denying the rumored co-op mode that's been making the rounds since last night.

I don't have many hopes for this DLC, but that's at least a bit of good news.

The multiplayer is fine, but I want my single player experience to be stand alone.

That is hardly being ready. Reapers are laying siege on the planet. illium defensors only slowed down the inevitable ground combat.

They were 100x more prepared than any of the other races who were apparently dicking around.

I hope it's MP-related. I hope he's not denying:

"You know, when this war is over, there's going to be one hell of a reunion party. Dancing in the streets, hugging and crying"--Kaidan

Because that's my secret hope for the next DLC.
(spare me the it's-not-going-to-happens...I already know :()

Even about the DLC?

He probably just means that reckoning co-op multiplayer crap websites have been speculating.

He said "speculation" not "leak". We aren't specualating about the MP DLC.

Well I admit that leak about the co-op does spark some speculation, but not as major as the next/final piece of Single-Player DLC.

I'd welcome more downloadable content. I'm betting this will be the last downloadable content for Mass Effect 3. Next up, Mass Effect 4 (or spin-off game.)

This tweet tells us nothing because we don't know what specualtion he's seen, or where he is seeing it. Reddit? Twitter? BSN? Someone could have nailed it on the head, but he didn't see it, so it gives us nothing to go on.

They've denied plenty of things in the past, like the older multiplayer DLC.

And what do you know? Turns out the rumors were true. In any case, I think it's safe to assume that the "Reckoning" content leak is accurate.
