Other RPGs don't have that good voice acting or good romances - which I think is really neat because it helps with immersion and dissociating with reality. I know one day another publisher will come around to it or I hope bioware gets to leave EA for a more consumer friendly publisher.

Try the witcher (1&) 2

I see this everywhere. The first Witcher sucks. I mean, it's bad. The combat is horrible, the voice acting sounds like the programmers are doing it, and the story is sooooooo sloooooooowww.

I've seen people gushing about this game for years, and finally picked them up on Steam to find out how terribly done they are.

Play it in polish with subtitles. Story has the right pacing, sorry if you need things to rush. Combat is not for everyone though, some people find it fun, others not. I wouldn´t say romances are good though, although they include elements Mr Gaider would probably enjoy.

I'm hoping my old squadmates returns, but it would be nice if Wrex was a temporary squadmate also.

Witcher 2 on xbox plays a lot like DA.....It's very button bashing friendly.

I've never come across a story in a game as good as ME either.

You clearly haven't played many games, then.

Or maybe he just has a different opinion?

I've played many games, and the Mass Effect trilogy remains my favorite.

I understand that The Witcher has bad combat, but I thought the story was awesome. Each to their own though.

Both witcher games have bad voice acting and, and aside from triss, lack good romances.

i agree. I've played a fair few games and the mass effect series is still my favourite. Especially the characters.

Only reason Witcher 1&2 don't do it for me is Geralt himself, Kinda generic and Prefer to create my own protagonist. Cyberpunk 2077 says it will allow players to create themselves in an open world space opera so that will be my next Sci-fi Rpg. ME is as good as done as regards to RPG's.

Wait so I can be a female protagonist if I want? If so that will go on my buy list.

Says towards the bottom of the article about allowing you to create your character from the ground up, If it turns out to be the case then we may well have found our perfect blend of skyrim and ME.

Be careful, this might get locked for getting off-topic.

So what are your most recent thoughts about Mike Gamble's tweet and the two screenshots?

They have nothing of substance to show and its the playerbase thats overhyping the dlc with speculations.

When this is finally released then I can see the fan base blaming Bioware for overhyping it, even though it will have nobody to blame but itself.

I agree, I'm keeping my expectations to the low minimum until we get more information.

Indeed. It's funny though, it didn't use to be like that.

if they manage to pull my Shep out of the rubble, I'll fly to Canada to shake their hands one by one.

otherwise... well, it has been a good journey. With an unstatisfactory ending, no doubt, but still a good journey

I really dont see any reason to be hyped up or speculate on what this new DLC will entail. We have less information on this DLC than we do on the Dwarf planet Pluto. I think a lot of it is people who are either genuinely curious what the next DLC will entail, or people who are desperate for a DLC that will "fix" the game.

But since Bioware doesnt believe that they did anything wrong in the first place, I find that any hope in a DLC that will "fix" anything is misplaced. I dont think that getting excited for something we have sparse information about can be considered wise.

If you have not been satisfied with anything Bioware has done recently then I give this advice. "Expect a crap DLC. Be happily suprised if Im wrong"

Teaser's are exactly what they are, Nothing to write home about, I didn't buy Leviathan/Omega as i thought ME3 was mediocre before the ending. But being as the ending takes precedant over all things ME3, I could look past things that make it mediocre and in the 000000000000000000.1% chance the 2nd pic is post-ending dlc then i would do a 2nd playthrough of ME3 and more than likely purchase the other dlc.

Interesting what the R&R caption with the 2nd pic means though, Surely they know everything they release/say is microscoped and overanalyzed so i am intruiged by what the dlc could be as the game is pretty much wrapped up and done and nothing makes much sense to get all writers involved and main composer..... I'll watch with baited breath for the leaks.

Ty for letting me know about that other game they're doing. Sorry for taking it off topic. Back on topic - I would also be very interested if it was indeed a post ending DLC. Otherwise ill just look back fondly on this game as the one game that had the most potential to be epic like Star Wars or something but blew it like the 9'ers did tonight. I really had hoped for me to be praised by all fans and critics equally.

I'm still hopeful some expac or something will come out expanding the game and the writers staying true to the original world in me1. I bought Levi hoping there was some ending relating thing but there wasn't ever since I haven't been all that interested in buying any DLC or any ea game (I'm still protesting) anyways. I hope more news comes out I'm getting cabin fever I hate winter.

Not exactly like the niners, (they were losing from the get go, and they pulled very close, but fell just short.)

This is more like the 16-0 Patriots from a couple years back...had so much going for them, and disappointing ending. If it was any other team, (besides the Pats, who are the best), a trip to the Superbowl would be an achievement on it's own. See what I'm alluding to here? ME 3 had so much riding on it, that an average ending, felt like a crushing one.

I do hope that Mass Effect can turn it around, so I wont have to continue using Patriots metaphors...if you get where I'm going with this...

Doesn't look like post-playthrough or epilogue DLC, so I'm sadly disinterested.

No, that's not some moral, ethical, or otherwise principled stand against the endings. I didn't mind the endings, in and of themselves. It happens to be the case my ME1 and 2 DLC purchases were precipitated on the notion they would change what occurs later on in the story, mediated on the acknowledgement that as DLC, they would not fundamentally alter the story and outcome. Prior games' DLC purchases were long-term investments, for the returns they'll have later in the series.

Knowing the trilogy's end now, I'm not terribly interested in anything in the context of ME3 since there are no lasting consequences, minor or major, to be seen down the road. The only DLC in which I'm interested in is post-playthrough.

This DLC doesn't look that interesting, sadly. It's weird - ME3s the first Bioware game I haven't replayed or bought the DLC for. But those endings, so dissapointing, that there's nothing to get me excited about playing ME3 for. And no reason to play the series either.
