It doesn't look like anything...because we don't know anything yet. It's just two pictures and we don't even have a premise so it's sort of lame to pass such quick judgement. Oh well, to each their own.

Other RPGs don't have that good voice acting or good romances - which I think is really neat because it helps with immersion and dissociating with reality. I know one day another publisher will come around to it or I hope bioware gets to leave EA for a more consumer friendly publisher.

Try the witcher (1&) 2

The voice acting for the Witcher 2 is mostly good, but it also has some awful voice acting as well. It is a lot less consistent than Bioware titles, which usually have competent VA by video game standards across the board.

Triss has some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard, in any game.

This DLC doesn't look that interesting, sadly. It's weird - ME3s the first Bioware game I haven't replayed or bought the DLC for. But those endings, so dissapointing, that there's nothing to get me excited about playing ME3 for. And no reason to play the series either.

You along with me and many others are the same, Bought all the dlc for ME1/2, ME3 was disapponting for me before the ending, Havent bought no dlc for it either as the seies just seems so pointless now, i'd assume we have all played ME1/2 enough times on theyre release aswelll so the journey over destination analogy doesnt have much weight. Post ending dlc which they are so adamant on not making is ironically the thing that would make it worth playing again.

Not very good games romance-wise. There is exactly one relationship in the Witcher 2, and it happens regardless of which relationship you chose in the Witcher 1.

Witcher doesn't have romance so much as just sex

Really? Maybe you just roleplay a different Witcher then the others?

I admit I've only played the first game, but I counted very few opportunities to pursue "romances" and an incredible number of improbably-endowed redheads flinging themselves at Geralt.

Exactly. My canon playthrough works around a faithful Geralt. I love how the romance blossoms between the games and has its ups and downs. In fact, I much prefer the Witcher 2's romance with Triss than the Witcher 1's. And the latter had that "I love you" speech at the end. It felt rushed and cheesy, yet the Witcher 2 was slow, and natural. A relationship teetering on the edge of a chaotic life, but kept together through love, passion and awesome magic sex.

Though I have to admit there's an air of hypocrisy with Witcher fans when it comes to Shani. I think CDPR did that *very* lazily, though it could be argued that the first Witcher was a sort of test for CDPR, they could have still done more than just 'hey, let's put a journal entry that explains what happened.'

Why do I say hypocrisy? Well, the Witcher boards love to take the ****** out of BioWare, and when CDPR did that with Shani, they praised its genius xD I know ME3 didn't handle ME2 romances as well as it could have, but at least it *tried.*

:D

Reject them, then. It's that easy. If they find Shepar... I mean Geralt attractive, then good for him! But it's obvious ingame that the main romance is Triss (Shani's there, but she was retconned out of existance in the Witcher 2 until the EE.)

Again, Am I the only one whose relationship with Shani ended with Geralt deciding to leave her before getting her killed? I liked that detail, a romance that ultimately fails.

Only reason Witcher 1&2 don't do it for me is Geralt himself, Kinda generic and Prefer to create my own protagonist. Cyberpunk 2077 says it will allow players to create themselves in an open world space opera so that will be my next Sci-fi Rpg. ME is as good as done as regards to RPG's.

This has me both excited and concerned.  Create your own character could easily mean you have an emotionless mute character where everyone tells you how you'r probably feeling.  Sometimes if you're lucky you get to select what you say but theres no voice actor to deliver the line.  That was the genius of Shepard, the character was customizeable enough where players could make it their own but not so open ended that they couldn't provide a voice for said character.

Based on what Chris said about mid-February, I expect it in late Feb. or early March.

I definitly expect a trailer soon if Mr. Priestley is already able to play for the most part. Good to know, this speculation is killing me a little.

His words:

Chris Priestly wrote...

We're not likely to be talking much about the next DLC till around the middle of next month when the content is better locked. Obviously that could change and be a little earlier or later, but as a rough guideline, mid-Feb or so.

NOT a PR statement. He just gave us a ballpark estimate. And notice how he says that it's subject to change. No date is cemented until it comes from EA/Hudson/Gamble/Priestly on the News and Announcements Forum. If he's able to play it at this point, I would say we are VERY close to a trailer.

Obviously the second pick is set years after the game with Shepard and Wrex comparing raising one kid as opposed to raising several hundred.

Wouldn't it be somewhat kind of cool if they released the DLC on March 6th.The same day ME3 came out last year.

That'll probably be the case. Also it would be a shame if this is the end of the DLC. With a new ME game one console and 2 years or more away, its too long of a gap without ME...for me at least.
