Indeed. There were endless options for one night stands, but your options are very limited for anything with any emotion behind it. I did like the Shani storyline, but from what I understand, that didn't take in the sequel.
Also, I seem to recall there are some ponts where Geralt pretty much has no choice but to sleep with someone, and the occassions where Geralt turns a woman down made him sound like a jerk.
Actually, I had a similar (but much smaller scale) romance problem with ME2 this way, where the potential LIs on the Normandy pretty much throw themselves at Shepard after completing their loyalty missions. I definitely liked the option in ME3 where there's an obvious flirt otpion to start things, rather than have awkward moment after awkward moment.
