Isn't Mr. Weekes proud of everything in ME3?

Anyway, hope it is good.

Still anxiously waiting for some juicy info to wet my appetite. Been checking the twitters, and tweets. This silence is murder sometimes, and is even worse this time because we've got zip on this. I hope this is as kick*** as Mr. Weekes says it is.

To be fair he can't really say any thing else given his position.

^ Yep. Whetting the fan's appetites with practically nothing.

When this DLC comes out, and if the fans hate it, it certainly won't be because BioWare hyped it up in a traditional way.

Having said that, I'm rooting for BW to knock this out of the park. Doesn't have to be a post-game epilogue (although I would prefer that) for me to love it. I really just want this to be something amazing.

I'd love a proper final boss, but that's me being fickle.

After a long day of meetings, normally I'd hate to still be working. But tonight working late means trying out future @masseffect DLC ;)

Me too : / but at least now everyone will stop hoping for it to be post-ending and just appreciate whatever it is for what it is.

When I saw this:

"I wonder what's in that thingy... gasp. Someone's got good taste! #nocontext #masseffect #DLC"

My first thought was "*GASP* Does Kaidan propose to Shepard?"

And then I realized (a) that's really sad, (B) no way that's going to happen, and © even if it did, it wouldn't matter because I rot in a pile of rubble while he stares at a memorial wall.

Oh the feels, they burrrrnnn.

But playing a doomed character is fun!

Apparantly.

Well, there goes some possibility in the Post-Ending content pool. Now that Jess Merizan has played this, we're definitely getting an announcement next week. I'm even more curious what this is now.

Yep. Doomed to save the galaxy. And survive, if that's your thing.

Please great one, explain how he survives? Not that BioWare intended for him to live (which we all know they did), but logically how?

Because we see him survive.

and not the other way around.

Some people find it hard to take illogical things at face value.

And somehow an extended breath scene will fix this?

The damage has been done to the "realism" of it all the minute Shepard survived Harbinger's blast.

Yes, because an implication is different from a concrete answer. It would still be illogical, but at least there would be no question. As it stands, an implication is just that - an implication on an illogical premise.

An implication would be a scene showing Shepard's body and cutting the scene short right before he takes a breath.

The breath scene does not imply a sign of life, it confirms it.

Dark is often wrongly associated with profound, especially in recent popular media. Doomed characters are often automatically viewed as grandiose and great. OVerly complex stories and plots have also been popular e,g,. Inception.

Ah, but the breath could be the "death rattle". :)
My Shep survived because he was never on the Citadel, and didn't fall from orbit, re-enter Earth's atmo and survive a plunge to solid ground and broken concrete. He suffered his wounds on Earth from Harbinger's blast-o-death.
