I return to these forums after two months to check on updates about the new DLC, and only find that every thread with potentially good information turns into another myriad of rabid entitled kids whining about the ending. Can people ever move on? So tired of this crap.
You'd think it was a topic important to people or something...

enough with the holier-than-thou attitude please.
I wasn't complaining about the ending Per-se, just stating that the lack of importance of the DLC stories/choices in regards to the overall story leaves little reason to care what happens in it. When you know everything is going to end up "back to the starting point" by the end of the DLC for the main characters as if you were watching an episode of an 80's sitcom, it makes it hard to get invested in the events that take place. That's all I was saying. I don't mind the endings at all (AFTER the extended cut).

Until BioWare actually opens up and and is willing to have a dialogue about it, you can expect this to continue for a long time.

I know this is going to lead to an inception of redundancy (
And don't say you find people who are annoyed by people who are annoyed by people who are still talking about the ending more annoying than people who are annoyed by people who are still talking about the ending...it makes my brain hurt and I will have no worthwhile retort.

Fair enough but I've stated mine enough times that I'm tired of doing it. Bottom line is I feel we were not lied to and we got what was expected a great game with consequences, great story and great conclusion to the trillogy.
Hahaha, stoolpigeon for the bioware dlc?
I feel, I was lied to and I got not what was promissed.
Concerning the great announcement towards the DLC I am suspicious of everything they say.

Can we stop acting like people who like the game and its DLC are stooges for EA? It is actually possible to disagree with you without being paid to do so.

This... so much this. You'd think the multiple threads every day about it would be enough, but no no, let's move into other threads and ruin them too. Let's do that.Shallyah wrote...

You do realize that these constant "get over it" gripes make you an equal part contributor to the toxicity around here, yes?
Don't get this thread locked down. People are hyped for this content. Some are still hoping it'll be ending-related. Not sure why, exactly, but big deal.
Anyone should be able to talk about what they're hoping for out of the next DLC without throwing insults around.
So instead of quoting an overly negative post without adding much, maybe talk a little bit about what YOU want the upcoming content to be, or what you're hoping for. And then we could discuss that - instead of going in a vicious circle of complaining about complainers.

Fine, but can we please limit it to threads that are actually about the endings?
I want character stuff in this DLC. Scenes like the Garrus shooting stuff scene. Reminiscing about the journey we've taken, etc.

Random suggestion, and probably unlikely, but how would people feel about a post-game DLC where you once again play as Joker? So you can go around on the rebuilt Citadel, reminisce about Shepard and the old times with the squaddies, chat up Edi, play some Quasar, etc etc.
It'd have the character stuff people want, potential for lots of emotional scenes as folk remember their dead buddies/Commander... and since this is the DLC they actually managed to get Seth Green back for, you'd want to make good use of him.

So I know some people have suggest that it could be (or that they would like it to be) a post-game chillaxing (okay, I won't use that word again, sorry) in style with all the squadmates in a casino on the citadel, or something like that. Whenever it's suggested, the response seems to have been "but Shep dies in most of the endings, so that's not really practical".

I think I'd rather play as someone other than Joker in a hypothetical, post-game scenario but I liked the idea of having this be post-campaign as a way of 'winding down' the series by exploring not only Shepard's impact on the galaxy but also in the lives of everyone on the Normandy.
Would've been a cool epigloue in my mind.
But I agree with the sentiments here ... as long as it's more character-driven and less corridor shooter, I'll probably be happy with it.
