If we're playing as Joker I hope we get a Segway cause otherwise it's going to take forever to get anywhere.

Yep, and her name is EDI.
*walk up to EDI*
*press A to climb*
*run around as EDI carrying Joker on her back*
*amusing banter ensues*
*press Y to dismount*
To be quite honest, this wouldn't bother me.Starscream723 wrote...
So I know some people have suggest that it could be (or that they would like it to be) a post-game chillaxing (okay, I won't use that word again, sorry) in style with all the squadmates in a casino on the citadel, or something like that. Whenever it's suggested, the response seems to have been "but Shep dies in most of the endings, so that's not really practical".
Random suggestion, and probably unlikely, but how would people feel about a post-game DLC where you once again play as Joker? So you can go around on the rebuilt Citadel, reminisce about Shepard and the old times with the squaddies, chat up Edi, play some Quasar, etc etc.
It'd have the character stuff people want, potential for lots of emotional scenes as folk remember their dead buddies/Commander... and since this is the DLC they actually managed to get Seth Green back for, you'd want to make good use of him.

yep. they literally cant stop crying about the ending that they wanted where shep meets up with all the disney princesses at disneyland and they live hapily ever after. the funniest part of all of this is they pretend not to understand the scope of difference between people like us complaining once in a blue moon and their 10 months of constant daily whining.Shallyah wrote...
I return to these forums after two months to check on updates about the new DLC, and only find that every thread with potentially good information turns into another myriad of rabid entitled kids whining about the ending. Can people ever move on? So tired of this crap.

Hahaha, stoolpigeon for the bioware dlc?
Can we stop acting like people who like the game and its DLC are stooges for EA? It is actually possible to disagree with you without being paid to do so.

If this dlc is related to dark energy, it would be fine. Whatever, I hope this dlc wont be a pro-synthesis one.

Funny thing is, that people that don´t like the ending are encouraged to go to disneyland to get their "happily ever after" ending. Seriously, that won´t help either.
Still seems that the ending lovers still haven´t got the point most people complaining about. But talking about that is like trying to explain that A. Einstein didn´t receive the noble prize for the theory of relatively, but for his explanation of the photoeletric effect, although his speech was nearly completely about his theory of relatively. Still people won´t listen to you and say you have no idea.
There is always that sarcastic untertone with that attitude, you don´t like it, so move on, what are you doing here...

Finally, the generalizations of all "ending lovers" or "ending haters" is what leads to problems like this in the first place.

i perfectly understood those that had valid complaints about the ending, pre-EC. but since that point theyve only gotten more bitter and whiny. theyve tried too poo poo the franchise daily with the same trollish arguments and posts. i understand if you feel that the ending wasnt good enough but when do you come to the realization that hating on a forum isnt going to change it? its far past constructive criticism ad its whining now. its like the crazy lady in misery.MassEffectFShep wrote...

there's a difference between getting appropriate closure with the characters that you've spent 3 games (and hundreds of hours) playing with and meeting with "all the disney princesses at disneyland and they live hapily ever after." the former is appropriate given the theme and tone of the ME, the latter is ridiculous. i get what you're saying, but...no.
Oh hypocrisy. Haters whine day in and out, make the same threads over and over, shout down people who like the game, respond with the same catchphrases, act self-important and superior. when you call them out then they pretend that theyre some disenfranchised minority group, just simply asking for equality. the game is done. no amount of hate is going to give you a happy ending. they didnt want to end it that way. i personally would have liked a happy ending for a perfect game but it wasnt in the cards and i accept that. how do you build suspense if the main protagonist is never really in danger? thats why famous good guys eventually die. if you have 456 episodes of Spiderman dodging death, eventually dodging death becomes as suspensful as grocery shopingSo everyone who wants *one* option for a happier ending and closure is equivalent to "a Disney ending where he meets up with all the princesses?"
While people shouldn't be outright rude to BioWare because of the endings, that doesn't give people the right to be outright rude to people who voice their discontent.
