If there is an Illium dlc, what would be the point? You already know the outcome, and that Illium falls.
LMAO. What's the point in living, we all know how that ends up, dead.
Does knowing the ending to a story make it anymore enjoyable?
Depends. There is more to a story than just narrative events. But it depends on what you're looking for.
To answer your point with an example though, I thoroughly enjoyed Memento

Here's an interesting thought: what if the dlc isn't combat based but character centered? No combat at all, just traveling the galaxy and meeting your friends?
I imagine it's going to be strictly on the Citadel, but that's just speculation from me.

I did not insult anyone, I am pointing out flawed logic by way of speculating too deep into a picture. I didn't tell you you should kill yourself, or you're an idiot, or anything that could be construed as insults. The term "use your brains" implies that you guys should be smart enough to not jump to a silly conclusion based on a screenshot.RiptideX1090 wrote...

They're teasers, chill out. Read my edited post above for more context. Just because we see a picture of a casino doesn't mean the DLC is going to be gambling related.
By your guys' logic, if we knew nothing about Omega DLC (via the leak) and we saw a teaser pic of a nightclub, we would predict it was Shepard Dance Club DLC. Pathetic! Brains, use them!
First off, lay off the insults. I've not insulted you or anyone else and I don't deserve them.
Second, you're right, I don't know anything about this DLC beyond one picture, I am fully aware of that. However, as that picture is all I have to go on, I'm going to talk about it and speculate what I think it entails. And if I had to guess, I'd say it's going to be a DLC about bringing back past squadmates, ect, either for some R&R, and if that is the case, I'm not excited about it.
I could well be wrong, or I could be right and maybe I'll like it anyway.
However, as things stand right now, I'm not excited after being shown this little tidbit. That is my opinion. Please respect it, as I respect your right to be optimistic and excited.
On that note, however, I do respect your opinion and your speculations. My only gripe with this site (not yourself, mind you) is that users tend to jump to conclusions specializing in the absolutely absurd.

Sort of my point. I never thought they'd stick in a "might be dead" character at all. So now, say, Miranda and Jack are possible. The Grey Nayr wrote...

While I have a ton of stuff to do and organize, and those pesky Reapers are still around, Im heading to Zakara Ward for a drink and some gambling. I know the entire galaxy is depending on you but you should come. Itll be fun! Ill make a joke about you having four testicles if you beat me in a drinking contest.
Wrex
This scene only makes sense post ending. Otherwise its just silly or time sensative.

Was immediatly reminded of this concept art when I first saw the screenshot. So yeah, it's more likely than not the Citadel.

If however you are saying that DLC will incorporate choices you made in past games, for example Wrex on Virmire or your handling of the Genophage in ME3, and that the characters who appear are dependent on who is alive, then I agree with your prediction.

Yes that. "Come back" as in the character may be in the DLC despite not being alive in all games.redBadger14 wrote...

Here's the thing though, what about people who only have James, EDI and Liara alive in their playthroughs? Which is entirely possible.
I mean... this kind of isn't going to work if it is strictly character DLC considering so many characters can be dead. Or at least, the logistics would be a god awful nightmare.

Hmm... I should go to more meetings.
Pffftt... for sure.
They release 2 screenshots and should know that it will set the forum ablaze and you'r on a meeting.... I don't believe that
Anyway... I don't play MP, so the Krogan screen doesn't do much for me. The second one looks kinda cool but I really hope that they don't put some R&R stuff in the "OH MY GOD!! THE REAPERS KILL EVERYONE!!" storyline of the game. Right now I can't imagine how Bioware could pull that off without killing the mood.
Sorry can't explain it better. Englisch not very good.

Does that look like Alenko's hairstyle from the back, certainly doesn't look like Sheps?.
I hardly think it's going to be a Virmire Survivor talknig to Wrex there, neither of them really ever had any interaction with Wrex and Ashley aint no fan of aliens.
For all we know it could be Casey's custom shep
Or here's a thought, those 8 lovely writers who worked on this DLC gave the VS a specific reason to talk to Wrex, and all will be revealed when the DLC arrives.

One of the reasons I'm really not okay if this IS squad/romance DLC and it takes place before the ending. I mean, Shepard is killing himself trying to stop the Reapers, millions of people are dying A DAY, per the codex, going on a vacation (if this is the case, mind you) is just so... not something I could see my Shepard doing.
