Don't be silly Feneckus. You can be sure that if they are releasing another krogan kit they will make NO attempt whatsoever to buff the soldier / sentinel / adept / new krogan kit in any way so they are viable in melee combat compared to the GI.

Because, f*ck, krogan being awesome at melee would just be sooooo imbalanced.

If the Slayer and Shadow are any indication it's more likely the hammer is the melee attack specific to the new Krogans.

I don't see them adding melee weapons to the game at this point.

The thing that troubles me is I can't see any gun; he either has no gun equipped, *EDIT* looks like a shotgun on his back.... 

Either that or this isn't a new character.

I hope the hammer is an actual ability (like shadowstrike, only less cheap) which counts as a melee attack.

Hammer > MMMRRRAAAAH > headbutts.

Because you CANNOT have a krogan without MRRRRAAAAW, HAW HAW HAW! and headbutts.

Tis sacrilege to propose a krogan be unable to headbutt his way to victory.

When last i checked, batarian's armour didn't encompass their hump / neck....

Here's a krogan wearing suspiciously similar looking armour if you're not convinced...

Yeah, its cropped up. Look at his lower back, looks like a shotgun hostered there. Enemies don't holster their weapons; dragoon's hornets just disappear.

If it's a new enemy and not a new krogan playable I'm officially done with ME3.

Plus, the colour scheme? If it were mercenaries, wouldn't it be in Bloodpack colours? I highly doubt biower just magicked a new faction out of their @ss for this DLC though.

Reaperified krogan? Doesn't look reaperish enough.
