Hey,

I know I'm only asking about 5 bucks, but I bought my points on the fourth just so I could get the dlc on the fifth.   Here we are on the ninth and no word of when it'll be released.  So, I'd like a refund.  Any help on how to do that?

Technically you were paying for the points, not for the content. So technically, you got what you payed for. Stupid fine print.



(not saying I am un-happy, I bought like $20 worth of points in one go, so I'm just sitting around and waiting for RtO).

This is why you don't buy stuff for stuff that already has a dodgy launch window. This is why you also do not pre-order two years ahead.

In all fairness, you don't always have to pay anything when you pre-order, so pre-ordering is often without negative consequence. This, however, isn't pre-ordering, it's buying points to be applied at a later date to whatever that's available. There's really no reason to buy points in advance unless you are looking at a big fluctuation in the exchange rate.



But I'm surprised there isn't an obvious answer to this question on the points page/FAQ.

Dont buy points until u see the new content in the DLC window ingame...imo

I guess I'm just a budget nut. I can put that 5 bucks other places and then decide later whether to spend it again on the dlc if and when it comes out. I don't lose money getting a refund, and the time is time I'd spend just relaxing so I'm not losing productivity.
