Just for the sake of science, I'm going to revisit the first post and analyize it line by line:

Positive scores: (doing these things will increase your score) (LOL LIKE WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT POSITIVE MEANT)

revives - Can easily be spammed/exploited (see battefield revive system)
assists - Already in place
detonates - Already in place as assist points
sheilds restores - You want a special scoring system for one race of characters? (Volus) That is definitely something worth the time of the programmers (not).
debuffs/weakens - I actually agree with this one but it would be hard to calculate/program
protects (biotic sphere) - Again, you want to make the programmers spend their valuable time redoing the scoring system for one character build in particular. Not gonna happen.

Negative scores: (Wait what does negative mean, does that mean scores go down?! lol)
solo kills - Not possible. What if you one shot an enemy with your pistol? What if your teammates are down leaving you to finish the wave? Endless reasons why this idea is turrible.
missles used on non objective waves - So if your teammates are surrounded by banshees and brutes, with no hope of escape, you want to be penalized for missiling them to save your team? Turrible idea.
running too far from teammates - Well that removes snipers from the teams. Any good sniper would use a position away from the main team.
bleed outs - I wouldn't care about a penalty for dying, actually. Might make people gel more.


All in all a terrible idea, and made even more terrible by the fact that you spent over 13 pages trying to defend it. Even though not a single person agreed with you. Not. one. person.

I leave logical fallacies to you especialy the ones I've debunked several times now. There are tons of people who agree with me in this thread, its not my fault you choose to ignore them.

If what you're saying is true, don't repeat the claim. Show objective proof that someone in this thread has agreed with you and that you've responded to rational concerns. Click the "link" button next to the necessary posts and repost the URLs in a neww post. For the most part, people have agreed with stuff on the "positive" list and thought the negatives were stupid as ****.

Prove that someone else has agreed with you, and prove that you've made a rational argument. You can't ask people to search through 14 pages just because you're unwilling to repeat yourself.

You have to understand, if you actually want your idea to be considered seriously, then you have to seriously consider the changes that people recommend.

Negative points...thats dumb....bad teammates are the reason I only play gold with people I know...Im not wasting equipment on randoms...silver and bronze I dont care cause I just carry them to victory without equipment

general rule of thumb of teamwork  is not to carry others and not to be carried, if the pugs are bad, throw them out

Alright, very specifically, respond to the following points or point to places where you have.

1. Why should users of high, single-shot damage weapons like the Javelin or Claymore be penalized by any point system?
2. Why should the score system promote or punish any specific style of play if people want to level up?
3. In what sense does the current score system promote or punish any specific style of play, in terms of actual rewards or punishments?
4. You say that others can choose to play as they wish with this system, and just accept negative points. Why doesn't the same exact reasoning apply to the current score system?
5. You claim to be promoting fun. I don't agree with your idea of fun. Why should either of us get priority?
6. What would prevent people from continually shield boosting to boost XP on wave 1 of Gold before intentionally dying to get from level 1 to level 20 quickly?
7. How can a teammate cover a flank without solo-kills?
8. Why should someone be penalized for using a missile when the team is being overrun?

About the one-shot kill problem. What if you're using "a sidearm" (which, I do not think you know what that means), and you one-shot an enemy? Everyone knows a paladin X to the head can take care of many mooks with one shot.

How does that work, oh great knowledgable one?
