ive missed worse with missiles than any newer player could ever hope to..

nothing beats a 2 husk missile, or one that goes through the legs of a pair of atlases and hits absolutely nothing.
happens to everyone.
theres even been times when i was the guy who missed the second one too
good thing i have 253 more.

If I have any reaction, I sigh. Might not be the noob, though. I've had missiles go through the floor, through enemies, and even hit enemies with only minor damage. Noobs are not immune to glitches.

I'd laugh but I've done it before so I can sympathize. That and nuking the abomination in front of you by mistake instead of the Praetorian behind it. Now that's a pisser.

I was going to talk about the time I missiled a single husk.

And then I remembered that, just the other day, a prime spawned a turret in my face at the exact wrong moment.

I have a habit of missiling primes the moment I first see them

Actually did this maybe two hours ago. Was soloing gold for my Lone Wolf banner and on a wave 10 hack I got surrounded by geth. Aimed at the lead prime, and the missile went right through the ****ers legs... Then eariler in the same match my game spassed out for a second and I kept pushing the button to shoot a missle. Ended up shooting a single pyro with 4 missiles.

I missed 3 missiles today because of lag. >.< Gets me really mad.

happened about 45 minutes ago in a silver match with some newer people.....on wave 4....  heard the missile go off, saw nothing in the kill feed, and just shook my head.  might have giggled a little, though

Yep, to my own stupidity ...
But the answer to the first without the continuation is: Ouh no, that's -1250 credits for me... as in I am the noob, and proud of it.

I think even worse than a miss, is an unintended hit. For example, you see a group of enemies perfect for a missile and a killstreak. You back up, pull out your launcher, turn the corner and fire.. and the missile blows up in your face because either (a) combat drone, geth turret, or invisible wall left by geth turret/combat drone or ( geth hunter takes the hit and you only get 1 kill.

Now, you may think.. 1 kill is better than no kills! But still, it's just as deflating.

sometimes i accidentally hit a geth hunter who ran up to me faster than the rest of the spawn. in this case, i miss

also, one can easily miss due to lag - missiles flies through obstacles and does not detonate

also, i've seen many experienced players missing due to various reasons.

so, i don't laugh. this is life, it happens
