I never miss missiles any more but I do waste them when I call out that I'm using one then some random PUG just manages to fit it in (that's what she said) before me due to lag. It's not that I get pissed about missing out on points it's just that wasting a missile is annoying as crap.

Especially when the whole payday wave goes pear-shaped and that one wasted missle would pull it out.

speaking of that earlier reactor two atlas phantom 2 dragons maybe a few troopers whatever not the point. I pulled out the missle ran dead middle of them fired rocket at the ground. No one was further than 4-7 feet away everyone lives with like 3 bars of health lets just say I left the game in shame and didbt play the rest of the night

Yeah, I've fired missiles at Geth Primes and Banshees that passed right through their bodies...twice in a row...so I can empathize. Only thing that annoys me about other people's missile use (other than glitch cheaters) is when someone uses all of theirs up by round 3 rather than saving them for wave 10 or 11.

One other thing that annoys me when I use missiles is when I'm about to nuke a Praetorian or something and a seeker swarm flies in the way at the last second and the missile gets wasted on it instead of the Praetorian.

Speaking of this I'm guessing most of us are talkin about pugs other wise we would be complaining to our friends. It seems like everyone is getting people that use missles I always get in rooms that people just ignore the fact that hey we need a missle let's burn one (hahaha burn one funny you know who you are). Anyways I feel I have to use my missles more lately because I get into pug games that everyone ignores them like its the a disease. Meh just me. Be sides sometime people make mistakes and miss a missle it happens do I laugh yes only because i have done it

With how often missiles glitch (I once fired a missile at an Atlas and it STUCK to the cockpit window then disappeared doing no damage) I try not to laugh when people miss, but sometimes you just can't help it.

I've missed, even when trying to aim for the feet (bad angle, usually) so I don't tend to say much.

Plus I've perfectly sent a missile sailing between the arm and torso of an Atlas, so I definitely don't say much... :-o

It must be a tough enemy, then - I'd fire at least 3 missiles in the general direction of the foe.

Heck during one wave 10 assassination I missed with 4 missiles in a row.

If it's in quick succession just pretend you raged. If not, it must be lag.

Cant say I've ever missed two in a row. I always think of the ME2 Gunnery Chief reaming out his men about not "eyeballing it." keeps me on target.

The other day I had TWO missiles go right between / through a pair of Banshees. I swear, one turned and waved goodbye to the 2nd missile as it passed her. The other Banshee fell over from laughing so hard... then she yanked out my spine.

I'm offically petitioning BW to change the name from Cobra Missiles to So-Blah MISSERS.

Pretty much this— I'm only laughing because I've been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Not so much as laughing at my teammate, but laughing at the situation and I'm hoping the person on the other side of the monitor is laughing, too. I was in a match last night on Hazard Glacier against Collectors and, somehow, both of my missiles went through the Praetorian that was in its "Rearing up and pouncing animation."

I want the ability to not get sync-killed if I'm in the middle of a fancy animation!

I laugh out of sympathy. 'cuz no matter how bad that noob missile just was, I can guarantee that I've done worse. Probably AFTER getting BotB. Accidental double-clicks, Turret defense shield, not seeing that husk there, outright whiffs in rapid succession, drastically underestimating the AoE, bad Banshee tracking, etc... And I've probably been playing long enough that at least 1 game has been lost due to me messing up a missile. Badly.

Only mistake I haven't made is killstreak-missiling a huge far-off cluster during an objective wave, forcing them all to respawn on the escort/hack.  One of those "hits" is worse than 5 "noob" misses.
