i had a noob missile moment at the last game. Freaking stupid missile Bug and that was my last missile too.

I clearly shot to the floor between two banshee close to each other and they still survived

and made me circling away the map like an idiot

I laugh, but it's in commiseration, because it's something I've done myself too. Sometimes you can't aim at the floor because the enemies are at the top of the stairs/ramp, so you try aiming for the wall behind them...

Crap, turns out they were too far in front of the wall to be affected by the blast. OK, well, they're closer now. I can probably rocket them directly- STUPID HUSK!

Fine, FINE! I'll just wait for the Banshees to close to within melee distance and rocket my own feet! How do you like tha- *Teleport-instagrab*

Sometimes you gotta marvel at those amazing misses. I don't know. Like when your target rolls out of the way. Or it SOMEHOW first between the body of an atlas/brute and sails on off into infinity? Or curves juuuust over the wall you were trying to hit and misses.

Silver match about 15 minutes ago I had a dam phantom stalking me for an entire wave, finally had enough of her **** and shot her point blank with a missile. Phantom proceeded to eat said missile and feed me her sword...

I'm cursing in my native language (Hungarian, which is one of the most colorful languages for that) when I miss with a missile. If it happens twice in a row, I go full melee for a bit.

When others miss: no worries, it also happens to me.

Another one I remembered. Standing on the hill on Condor. Surrounded by two brutes and two banshees. Pull out the missiles. Fire at my feet.

... nothing in the kill feed. Still surrounded by two brutes and two banshees (and marauders now too). Fire another.

(And then there was the time I fired a missile into THE SAME FREAKING HILL, pull out my missiles two waves later and realize that I've gone from 5 missiles to 1. Lesson learned: Don't even attempt to missile on the hill on Condor. Just give up.)

Last night i launched 5 missiles the 2 of them just did minor damage to a scion...

I have actually fired 3 missiles at 1 Atlas before.
The first went between the legs.
The second went between the left arm and body.
A back flipping Phantom intercepted the third.

At this point I just told my friends to kill. I was done trying.

i love it when your playing with friends OR randoms, dude calls out a target on objective waves, misses the missile, never uses a second one, dies and bleeds out, says "you guys got this"

I usually laugh, because I do it all the time too. or the missile goes through the floor

I normally say something like "Bugger, missed. I just hate it when I do that ..."

On that note, last night gold against reapers. 3 of the team is down, banshees, brutes and mooks all over them. I storm in, wipes everything with a missile and revives all three like a boss. The next moment I head-shot a cannibal point-blank with my next rocket because I forgot to switch weapons back. So no, I do not laugh when someone does something stupid with a rocket.

My Dad and I had the 'talk' and he told me their is nothing wrong with a n00b missing with his missile. He did say never go for early extraction though.

I do the james bond villain laugh: Bwuahahahaha.: when someone misses. (my fav is when they fire at a pack of atlas and it just sails between them and keeps on going)

Alternatively when im about to missile a pack of praetorian/scions and a swarm intercepts it I spontaniously develope terets syndrome.

I once had 2 missiles phase through Atlas's during a match... and they were with large groups too

It was one of those Jaw dropped and face palmed moments.

i got cornered by a praetorian, was about to nuke him, got staggered from behind by a sneaky collector captain just as i tried firing nuke. Was then killed by grenades from a possessed scion.

As i lay there dying, waiting to see if i should medigel, i saw the kill feed. No dead praetorian. All i hit was a seeker swarm.

missiles are ridiculous. Ive managed to hit things by aiming it to curve slightly around a corner and across the map. Whereas sometimes i try to hit something right in front of me and it does nothing

I've fired a missile at a spawn point full of Reapers and only ended up killing swarmers, so I wouldn't laugh.
