Normally, I'm not watching other people closely enough to notice if they miss a missile, so I assume others don't notice on the rare occurrences when I miss one.  I had a game last week though where I was soloing the rest of the wave and I missed two Atlases with a missile - I think it just went right through them somehow, but it still hit nothing.  Everyone was watching me.  That was super embarrassing.

I always missile the ground or a wall, or something that isn't moving... I don't really miss anymore lol

But when I see a guy just sail one right through traffic I laugh, out loud sometimes lol

since when missing missile makes you a noob? any person can miss, lag and the console auto-aim screwing you is more then enough to make you miss your target >_____< specialy the auto-aim feature, how many times it decided the drone is more important then the prime itself>____<

I'm just happy when a pug uses a consumable and wouldn't laugh at them for doing so. At least they're trying to kill ****, which is more than you can say for many elitist pros who bleed out instead of rocketing or gelling.

No! No I don't laugh. I missed a praetorian yesterday from point blank. I did laugh at myself though. This happens to everyone once in a while and if you claim you haven't your a liar or your time is coming.

I've fired plenty of missiles through the armpit of an Atlas.
I stand there slack-jawed for a couple seconds afterwards.

Every now and again, I still get one that flies through a Primes legs. It happens to the best of us.

The worst I ever had was a gold match against Reapers on White. I was outside in the back, just past the bottom computer room. I was completely surrounded by 3 Brutes, 2 Ravagers, a Marauder, a Cannibal, and 4 husks, two teammates down, the other too far to help. I fired a rocket at the closest Brute - and it flies up.

The rocket fired up.

Towards the sky. 90 degree's vertical. Up.

I was absolutely stunned.

Needless to say, I was down and executed before I could even begin to think rationally.

Reapers are now utilizing Prothean tech.

If you laugh at "n00bs" for not being able to use the missile correctly, sooner or later you're gonna miss.

I wanted to shoot 2 praetorians, and 1 scion with a missile. They were not too far, everything was perfect, and baaaam abdomination jumped between us from cover... It was just some hours ago.

I did have a missile miss rage moment the other day. FB Vancouver near the Lzone area. I'm badly hurt, Atlas right in front of me and another enemy or so shooting. I get out the missile launcher but literally do not have time to shoot at the ground. The Atlas is 2 feet in front of me. My shot goes straight through it and I'm down.

wth is it with Praetorians though. I swear their hitbox must work totally different from other boss hitboxes. Of the first 40 rockets I've sent to the Praetorian, mebbe 8 hit.

I've resorted to firing the darn rocket at my feet whilst whispering sweet nothngs into the bosses ear..

There is a telltale missile sound. I always listen for it and judge people appropriately. It helps me keep track of how many missiles a PUG has left and decide important factors. Like whether or not to get them up.

I missed a few times. Me an a friend were on wave 9, I think it was. He was sync-killed by a phantom, leaving me to mop up the rest. It was all good until an Atlus showed up. My friend told me to play conservatively. I pulled out my rocket launcher and fired. And fired. And fired. I missed the Atlus with all five rockets. Then the Atlus walked up to me and sync-killed me. That was a good day.

oh god... this happened last night.. fired a missile at the target, the wrong prime walks right into the way of it... shoot another.. goes sailing through it into the sunset... after that I just tried to save face and gun it down...
