Illegal Wardens all over Ferelden!

Imagine, what people did at all times, when someone was ill and the medic ran out of ideas: They called for the high priest or shaman, expecting that they could cure it by calling upon the might of their deity.
Now we know, that the ritual of the Wardens is not really a "cure", it just grants an unspecified reprieve.
Again the possibility of an "accident" comes to mind: What if one of these "exorcists" happened to use an adjuratory formula which worked in a way, that the mental connection was lowered to a certain sufferable degree?
But ok, perhaps I stretch it too much. We simply don't know how the Warden's ritual works. We don't know about the first Warden and we don't know about necessary components.
In the thread I read words like "many", "often" "most of them" but never "all" or "100%".
Perhaps "my" Joseph was resistant due to his genes and perhaps he had a certain mental stability...
You know about the chaos theory, right? Not that I understand the concept en detail, but one thing I learnt:
There is nothing which is not possible.

Well, Mr. Gaider there had quite a large hand in creating the lore and the Grey Wardens, so... if he says it's maybe possible, I'd take that as a good sign.
I hope "my" Joseph will be the protagonist in the upcomming expansion "The Wild Wardens of Ferelden"

Maybe the "Wild Naked Solo Dualwield Warrior" expansion pack
Oh and btw. i dont think a Shaman or Priest could "expell or exorcise" a curse delivered by the Maker himself.
Thats like if a Exorcist would exorcise God or the "Belssing" of God humself... a real Anathema

I don't think he meant that literally. Hafter wasn't a member of the order, after all.Sarevok Anchev wrote...
As i remember the Warden whos Hafters Master told the Female Mage GW that Hafter IS a Grey Warden himself!
Not just a random survivor like dog (and Dog only survives, when you find this rare flower in the Wilds)
I took that to mean that he had given Hafter a drink of the same potion that they use to turn Grey Wardens into Grey Wardens. Hafter accodringly would have either died or become "immune." Since he didn't die, and he is immune now to the taint through blood, etc. then we know it worked. Since Hafter's master serves the Grey Wardens for life and through his master Hafter does - then I think Hafter could be considered a Grey Warden - kind of like they consider Police K-9's as "police," or war dogs as "soldiers."
