Who is that in the picture of the upcoming 'Citadel'(?) DLC?

Image IPB

Personal opinion: Wrex is there because this is Post-Ending DLC. Putting him in the game otherwise is just too complicated, imo.
-is he alive or dead? Default ME3 has him DEAD
-did you betray him or not?
-you can't really bring him during the Tuchanka arc!

Remember: "If the genophage wasn't cured because Shepard allowed the salarian
sabotage of the cure to go unfixed, and if Wrex is the Urdnot leader,
Wrex will eventually discover that the cure is a fake. When Shepard
returns to the Citadel after the Battle of Rannoch and then attempts to
return to the Normandy
, Wrex will suddenly emerge from the elevator,
clearly enraged." (Wiki)

Oh Casey Hudson... Image IPB

The only other possibilities to me is:
1)Wrex is a placeholder and if he's dead or whatever, he's just replaced with another more 'stable in story' character
2)Wrex appearing is a tag that if he's not in the game, he just doesn't appear for that part of the game

But if Bioware is planning to have Wrex as a definite part of DLC and not just a short 'cameo', I actually think, along with other variables from our choices, it is much more appropriate for post-ending.

Post ending or not I think it's going to be a good story DLC. But if it's not ending related i doubt it will be successful. Also another ****storm will hit his forums in that case.

but if the DLC is post-ending, the Wrex-related proble would still be there, him being dead/betrayed and all.. so I don't so why setting it post-ending would suddenly fix all those problems.

My take is it is just like one of the many situations ingame: If Legion is dead he's replaced by someone else, same for Mordin/Tali/Wrex. Same is the case here. Wrex is seen because he is alive in the user's game. If he's dead then someone else would take his place.

Not post ending. There will be no more ending DLC. It's over. I agree with you, I think it will be a good story and DLC, looking forward to it. And yes, the forums will be ablaze when it's nothing but more war assets and another branching storyline, but then the forums will die cause of no more specualtion. And slowly but surely Mass Effect will be nothing but another Great series that should have been handled better at the end. But I still like it. And I will buy the new DLC.

Heaven? You mean Purgatory? Or Afterlife? Or Eternity? There's so many!

But I get what you mean ;)

(Shepard isn't a messiah...unless you're fooled into thinking so, the Reapers are not gods...but they get others to believe otherwise, and heaven truly is just a bar, basically)

ME4 (or whatever it will be called) is going to happen regardless of forum speculation.

If a DLC is post ending, it only needs to take into account all previous choices, not the idea of fitting into future content.

But it would also be dependent on certain theories being correct.

Certain theories left to make its own group or forum :pinched:

ME4 will be nothing like ME1, ME2 or even ME3. Sheps story is over. I think ME4 will be a 3rd person shooter, much like Gears of War or an FPS. That's where the money is. And EA is all about the money. And BioWare has changed. The founders are gone. The company has changed. Watch, it will happen. I bet Drangon Age 3 will have micro transactions, multiplayer that affects SP, Day 1 DLC that's on Disc, overprice DLC and a poorly written ending. But it will also have great combat, amazing graphics and good sound design. Sound familiar?

No doubt that is Wrex and Sheppard at some weird point in the Citadel we havent been yet... the word silver seems to be used a lot here so its probably a red light district area or a underground pleasure and high rollers section.

IMO its probably going to be a go there KILL this person favor for Wrex or most PS3 users who dont have the trilogy collection Wrex's brother for more useless war assets. I know its Early to say but I think that "SILVER COAS CASINO" is going to be a big part of this upcoming DLC.. But yet again I could be wrong...

The problems you posted about Wrex beingin this DLC, still exist if the DLC is placed after Shepard defeats the Reapers. How does the DLc being post-ending solve the Wrex-related problems you wrote?

It'll be accessible only from the halfway point onward and characters will only show up for interactions so long as they're still alive and their ME story content is effectively wrapped up. In that sense, the Wrex equation is mostly taken care of; if a player should run into the confrontation with him later on, he'll simply be removed from this area.

Also, Jacob will likely continue to pop up at Huerta instead and Miranda -- if indeed she gets anything from this -- will have a very slim window of opportunity.

Rio a city known for its nightlife,not yet used in single player, is a multiplayer level and is mentioned by a important character from a writers perspective.It could be a end of reader threat R&R though.

Am I the only one on BSN who doesn't think that it looks like Wrex? The Krogan is far too distant to see the details of the face, and armor color is hardly unique to him.

I dunno, I am pretty sure it looks like Wrex. Do you have any screen of an armor like this on another Krogan?

Well, that would suck for the people who have not played Mass Effect 1, the default Wrex is dead.

Or maybe the krogan is just a placeholder for...are you ready?

If you zoom that image you can see that this Krogan has a read headplate and wears Wrex´s iconic armor.

The only Krogan we know with a headplate in that red is WREX and the only Krogan we know that wears that exact armor is WREX.

I bet on an example for what friends could show up there because not everyone has Wrex alive.

I've seen the image comparision and from that, I'm 90% sure that is wrex.

And 50% (numbers out of my ass) sure that's Shepard with him.

And Silver Coast = Portugal
Portugal = Portuguese
Portuguese = Brazil
Brazil = Rio :P

Or this could just be purely pre-Cronos Citadel DLC, and Silver Coast is just teasing ONE LAST DLC after this one... on Earth. ;)
