Common its the last trilogy of the series, having another squad mate is pointless.
I much rather have DLC that gives a good purpose to the storyline of current existing charcters in the game. A background story on Wrex would be awesome.
Im hoping for a wrex history on his merc days

Awesome New Refusal Extended Cut:
Shepard: I fight for freedom; mine and everyones. I fight for the right to choose our own fate. And if I die, Ill die knowing that I did everything I could to stop you. And Ill die free.
*Citadel shuts down*
Wrex: Commander
Shepard: What is it?
*Wrex hands Shepard a damage console*
Wrex: It may have been the Citadel's computer console. I found it in one of the upper compartments, but the powergrid is offline in that part of the Presidium.
Shepard: So you ripped it out of the wall. Very nice. So, what do we do with it now, Use it for a door stop?
Wrex: I don't care what you do with it!
Epic Ending ensues.

That's my fear. I know it may sound stupid to believe that. But I actually thought ME3 would bring Wrex back as a squad mate.
My reason:
All the petitions back in ME2 days where fans after fans wanted Wrex for a squad mate
so this "Krogan" is either Wrex or it's a placeholder
and I can't wait to get a confirmation from Bioware

yeah man. I had my own ending Scenario:
The only Good Ending would be if Wrex came with Shepard and ate Casper the Ghost

As opposed to just using a standard generic Krogan? What would the purpose of that be?
Look I'm not a big fan of speculation and hype, but Wrex is definitely in the DLC. His role may not be significant though.

i dont think it's wrex for the simple reason that wrex might be dead in your playthrough. so far wrex's involvement with mass effect has been pretty slim post ME1.
Just like in the main game, they could just use Wreav for players that killed Wrex in ME1.
NO, PLEASE, NO!! NO MORE WREAV!!!!
Why not?
Wreav's Great IMO
he's distinct from Wrex just like Jorgal Thurkak is distinct from Wrex & Wreav & Grunt. And Grunt is distinct from all the rest of them.
What you like? a DLC that offers replay value where depending on your choices you make, you can go and replay the DLC and see the different outcomes? I would.
I'm the biggest Wrex fan out there. And I myself had Wrex killed off in one of my Playthroughs. I was thoroughly impressed on what Bioware did with Wreav. He was great. Wreav is more brutal and hilarious IMO while Wrex remained with his winning personality.
IMO a DLC with Wrex and Wreav together offers replay value and therefore I get the most out of my Money Worth

Was this yours?

I think that picture was part of the teaser to let us know that Wrex will be in the DLC. Maybe he'll only play a small part, but he'll be in there.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they'd go with a krogan that looks just like Wrex for a teaser pic. They'd have to know they're getting people excited over nothing.

I sure hope it's not a small part

yeah it is or looks like him alot. my theory is the next dlc is a krogan based dlc
I've long wanted a Krogan DLC. I just hope Wrex/Wreav/Jorgal Thurkak/Grunt or whoever that they'll play a large Role.
you can have replay value with Wrex, since he can be killed. Have Wreav/Grunt replace them and see new outcomes. If the player killed Grunt, then he can be replaced with numerous Squads: Jorgal, Kaiden/Ash, Jack, Thane, Zaeed etc...
so there's replay value. which I'm always on board of

Or they reused his model. Because that is without a doubt, Wrex's model in that image.
Come on. Everyone in Bioware knew that we would recognize that model. There are enough generic Krogan to use for that purpose.
It wouldn't the the first time that Bioware underestimated how perspeicacious the collective fanbase can be.

Eh. Honestly I think the game already has enough of Wrex and the krogan. Would prefer a batarian/elcor/volus/hanar DLC.
I agree to an extent. Batarians & Elcors would be nice to have as squad mates (no fan of hanars)
but K.R.O.G.A.N.S. are my Favs and there's a large fanbase of them.
who knows, maybe the next ME4 we'll focus more on Krogans, Batarians, Elcors etc... and less on humans. Because I prefer to have more depth story on ME Universe from other species then humans.......
but that's just my opinion
