I only got to N7 113.. never found enough love for the Soldiers to hit level 20 with them.

Silver in the Beta.. tried to solo it once.  Didn't end too well..

Those were fun times with my 2 RL friends, we used to play FBW on gold. I was a HE with a predator (didn't like the feel of the phalanx or carnifex at the time), my friends were a novaguard who always seemed to get saved from death only to run in traffic 3 seconds later, a widow TSe who started girly screaming when he lost shields and made sexual advances with tech armor, and we had this one AA we met on live who didn't have a mic but we managed to joke and talk with him anyway.
Barely knew what techbursts were, stasis was the phantom killer, and getting sync killed by an atlas or everyone trying to melee beatdown a guardian was hilarious,.

I still play the game and it's great fun, it's just that my friends have it on xbox and me on PC. I still like to wear rose colored glasses from all the funny things we did during the demo, though.

AA with widow..Stasis Phantom.. Widow to the head!

And one game I did an all Krogan melee game (PUGs weren't bad in the Beta days xD), the Atlas never stood a chance!

First gold solo with a SI w/ Widow as well.

Don't forget to limit yourself to only 2 consumables per match. You have to keep an eye on your rage gels.

I'm in! I remember being supremely bummed when the demo went offline for that short period of time. The human engineer was my go to guy. His drone used to be spectacular.

Love the idea but I don't know what was in the beta. Could you make a list of what was in the beta?

I gave myself a similar rule set for the Vanilla Human Weekend Challenge a while back. I went into a Gold/Cerberus/Ghost with an Avenger and Mantis (no piercing mods, no level 4 gear) on my Human Soldier. I tried a Gold Duo with a friend where we both used odd set ups we had in the demo (Human Engineer (me) with Scimitar/Phalanx and Human Adept with a Mantis/Avenger). We wiped on wave 7, but it was a lot of fun.

"Ah yes, beta. We have dismissed that claim", or the days when demo's weren't just a way for developers to have their stuff tested for free.

I'll join in on the festivities if I remember to do so.
