I was so happy when I first got my hands on Claymore and Widow in beta.
Then, I realized all the stuffs you unlock during beta are forever lost after the official launch.

For the best Beta experenice you can only use Human Male Adept, Soldier, Sentinel and Human Female Engineer, Infiltrator, Vanguard.

Like I said.  I put what I could remember.  It could have been.  But I don't remember 100%.

Beta and demo are not synonyms. When I remember the beta, I think fondly of that guy who was stuck in a wall in Vancouver.

I also remember that one of the writers was pissed off because the script was leaked.

Sounds good. Never played demo MP. Demoed SP and got the game for it. In April I started MP because I wanted the breath scene. LOL, I never got it because I never finish that play through.

I never played MP until months afterwards but I do remember BioWare people talking about their testing games.

You know - at first I did not want the MP.  I was sure it would suck and be no fun at all.....  based upon....  well, nothing but my uninformed opinion.  I prefer SP, and the series has always been SP.

I got the Demo, it included the MP (as you well know).  The SP portion was a lot of fun, but it was fast material.  So I said hey, what the heck - lets do this and see if they got it right.

I was hooked on wave one.  Good times - and a lot of fun.

Thank you to the whole team!  Its been almost a year, and its still going strong.

I remember how surprised you guys were at how well people took to it. Must have felt good to have so many anxieties layed to rest so quickly.

Myself, I was in love with my quarian engineer during the demo. I had always wanted to play as a quarian up to that point.

I remember being very critical of the thought of multiplayer and then sucked into logging hours on just the demo. I was dissapointed when weapons didn't transfer to the game.

Didn't stop me from coming back though.

Demo days were full of wonderment at playing MASS EFFECT with your friends.

There was also wonderment at being able to play as the other races. No longer shoehorned into playing just shepard.

It was jaw droppingly awesome.

I remember how much I loved the "MMMMRRRAAAGH!", followed closely by the "HAA-ARGH!".

After the demo, I felt excited to start level 1's with my friends who waited for the game to be released before trying it their first time. Human Vanguard with a Katana I, no mods, just my two abilities. It was like a true fresh start.

Oh, can I downgrade my claymore from a X to a IV? =)

Yes.  I got on to fix that.   I rememberd that their picture was "Viewable" but you couldn't unlock them.  As I put in the first post.. I tend to mix the Beta and 1st month of game..

Fixed the List of Beta Kits.
Thanks to UKStory for reminding me to fix it.
I put all of the original aliens not being able to remember which kit was "Beta useable," and just "Viewable."

Anyone tell me whether or not I got every Beta weapon listed?

I feel like I'm missing one or two.
Viper?  Locust?

The original "Beta list" post was just a quick *What I could remember at that very moment" post for the benefit of another poster.

Any help would be nice.
