Well, the all seeing prophet OneTrueShot name-dropped Reckoning a few weeks ago, although we have absolutely no details about it other than us getting the Chakram Launcher in MP. All else is speculation or lies until more consistent information is uncovered.

However, there is credence to the idea that we may get a join SP/MP DLC, as the screens provided do seem to occur in vastly different environments, along with the fact that one gives us a picture of a Krogan in strange armor using a new weapon, with the focus being on the Krogan. This means the focus is either on the Krogan or the weapon it is wielding. If the focus is on the Krogan, then we are likely getting such a character in MP. If the focus is on the weapon, then we are likely getting a whole new class of weapon made available to us: melee weapons. These ideas are not mutually exclusive, both can be true.

well they kinda already have the mele animation with grunt..this is possible

That's just plain false. Retaliation was leaked in its entirety (even the volus, which many people scoffed at) in a Reddit post.

In any event, this is for Reckoning, the next (final?) multiplayer expansion. The single-player DLC is something different.

I'm not gonna buy that they'd make story missions coop, at least not without a single player option.

Also MP and Story DLC are always released separately because they're made by different studios.

Single player(except Omega) was made by Team Edmonton. MP, and Omega, were made by Team Montreal.

This DLC is made by Edmonton, so I doubt it.

It's been stated numerous times, even by Bioware employees, that Montreal makes the MP DLC.

And Montreal will be making ME4.

Sorry, but you're wrong, and you're spreading misinformation. The first four maps were done by Jos, and then Jos and two other designers worked on Earth, and Jos was heavily involved in Retaliation.

Montreal did do the initial multiplayer work, but those designers moved on when the game was released (to Omega, and now to ME4 and assisting with DA3). All post-release maintenance has chiefly been done by Edmonton.

Multiplayer is primarily handled by Montreal. As stated numerous times. Forum posts, news reports, and even quotes from actual developers. Deal with it.

As should have been clear, I was referring to the firebase maps from the first two MP expansions.

Maybe you should go back and look over those "forum posts, news reports, and even quotes from actual developers". You'll see that they were talking about the initial multiplayer work, not the DLC. (You may also want to pay particular attention to the quotes from Jos, where he says "I did those maps".)

but in all seriousness I hope that the SP is this Citadel/Reaper secrets scenario. Thousands of us can finally be at peace (I hope) with Bioware and the Mass Effect series and my girlfriend may actually play it again. Fingers Crossed.

Incorrect. They have been confirmed as accurate, as both photos were uploaded by BioWare staff. One was by Mac Gamble, the other was Casey Hudson. The photos were in their tweets they released. Both photos are genuine. And both are supposedly confirmed to be from the same DLC package.

Incorrect. Edmonton did the majority of the MP DLC. Montreal wasn't brought into the fold intil Retaliation and Omega.

They predicted everything in Retaliation. That warrents the benifet of a doubt. Besides, there isn't anything yet that counters/disproves it.

It's actually not the first time he's complained, I remember him getting real pissed off when he couldn't get his low-EMS destroy ending because he had too many points from MP

Well sure. Reddit has definitely had accurate leaks in the past, including Retaliation, but you can't tell me that a lot (if not most) of the stuff leaked on Reddit turns out to be bs. I'm not saying that it IS bs, I'm simply saying that Reddit isn't a 100% reliable source. But then again, Bioware isn't either...

It will be characters, and he wont be the only new character. And that weapon he is holding will be specific to him, just like the Slayer with his sword.

I believe Montreal also helped out with Leviathan as well.

Also, it was Montreal that ported ME1 to the PS3 with help from an outside studio (forget their name) so that would have taken them some time as well.
