This is a good point, Chris.  Frankly, I recall someone (you or one of the writers) saying on these forums how you guys try to avoid gender-specific phrases/situations.  I understand that from a logistical perspective, but I've always thought making a unique experience for male vs female was very appealing for replayability or otherwise.

As someone already said, we've seen leaks (on reddit etc) like this vehemently denied before by the community managers only to have them be officially announced nearly verbatim in detail a week/month later.

And the usual response to the said denial after the fact is usually silence or something along the lines of "well we only said that the part where the leak said 'the' (or some other insignificant detail) in the wrong place in a sentence was a lie."

Yep.  Coop?  I could see that being a new MP DLC, along with the other R packs like Rebellion and Resurgence.  If this is true, I doubt it would be the SP one.  But, a lot of these rumors are just plain wrong.

Moral of the story is, don't put any faith in the integrity of a leak/denial by Reddit or Bioware and you won't be disappointed by false anticipation.

This is a huge stretch.  He already said it was fake, which is all the "grounds" a Bioware spokesman really needs.  People will always pick apart everything he says and try to prove how it's not true or whatever, kind of like how "no ending DLC" suddenly means that Bioware's last DLC is going to redo the endings and make everyone happy, which then means Bioware is building up too much hype.

The only DLC that has actually been "leaked" by anyone is the Multplayer DLC, which has been accurate every single time, but I personally have never seen someone from Bioware outright deny that those specific leaks weren't accurate.  The one exception to this was the leak of the description of the Extended Cut, which had already been announced.  The other SP DLCs were discovered through hidden files, not through a leak.

What I did see is people take the leaked MP DLC and piggyback it onto some completely made up grand plan for DLC (remember Project X or whatever?).  Then Bioware would deny the DLC plan as fake.  Problem is, when they announced the MP DLC that had been accurately leaked, this hoaxers would then jump down Bioware's throats by claiming that they got one of the DLCs right.

Sorry, but "not always reliable" is the definition of unreliable.

The information is accurate some of the time, and sometimes it is not. It is always unreliable.

Sorry, but "not always reliable" is the definition of unreliable.

The information is accurate some of the time, and sometimes it is not. It is always unreliable.

I season everything I read on Reddit with a metric ton of salt out of general principle; this "leak" is fairly crazy, but it doesn't even break the top ten craziest "leaks" I've read about.

The only thing I felt the need to point out is that you guys have previously denied things that turned out to be true, so it's hard to take your word for it. Not because you're you, but because you've got a blue tag under your name.

So, just an innocent question: Are all the squadmates going to be avalible for the DLC this time around, like Leviathan? Or is there something else in mind.

People who put a lot of faith into Reddit will end up disappointed. There is nothing wrong with Reddit, but a site where anyone can claim to have "insider info" without needing to offer any proof kind should cause peolple to, at least, be sceptical about what is said.

It's just that they were where so much of Retaliation was leaked. And it all turned out to be right, from what I remember.
