After finishing the "I am alive" PC game I was somehow disappointed since it had so much potential in it. That post apocalyptic feeling really got me. So I thought that something similar would be awesome for a Mass Effect spin off. Just thinking about a new RPG where we could take our part in the everyday struggle of those men and women who left on Earth.

Basicly 3 classes and those 3 classes means 3 different difficulty level:

1) Special task force team member (easy): your mission is to secure key personals and escort them to safety. Unfortunately your shuttle has been shot and you stuck on the streets of Vancouver. The mission takes priority, no matter what, you have to make sure those people (mainly scientist) get to safe.

2) Soldier (medium): Right after the Reaper attack you've been dropped in the middle of the fight in Manchester. Your mission is to secure civilian areas, escort them to shelters and grant their safety. Also, you'll participate in the final battle, in the final push...

3) Civilian (hard): You're on your way to work while the Reapers attack NYC. You're "mission" is to get back to your family and together get to a safe place. This is rather a survival mode with low ammunitions not to mention your lack of combat skills. This game mode would be the closest to the game mentioned above.

So what do you think guys, would this kind of spin off worth a shot? :)

I like the Civilian idea, but gamers would never go for something that doesn't cast them as an unstoppable powerhouse whose enemies fold before him by the dozens.

I think I would play the soldier route first but then try the other ones.

Aye, personally I would play all of it :) pretty much missed this parts from ME3. Let's be honest: the escape part wasn't thrilling and the last mission was just meh: very simple map design, and the only challenge about the map was the ****load of amount of the enemy. For the escape I would have provided limitet ammunition, so more sneaking an running around collapsing buildings, trying to avoid Reapers and Reaper forces. For the return the map would be more complex, also rainy weather and the difficulty doesn't mean a ****load of enemies but use your mind. Also Reaper themselves, not just Reaper forces. There was 0(!) Reaper on Earth when we returned. The only Reapers we encountered was the Destroyer that protecting the beam and Harbinger which was just meh... still want a final boss fight with Harbinger but I guess we won't get any... cause of artistic integrity... :(
