I just played a few gold matches with Stardusk's Krodept build using my Wraith with Incendiary Ammo IV and WOW that Warp/Incendiary ammo glitch is powerful on bosses!
While it's been established it's not a punishable exploit, is it considered cheap or cheesy by any of you?

It is cheap with the Reegar.

Not cheesy if you aren't using a Harrier or Reegar but it's probably not looked upon with much favour.

It's like the Reegar. I'm not above using it sparingly, but I don't like to use it in general.

It's like EA has said since the 90's
'If it's in the game, it's in the game'
They put it there, use it.
Use the turian sentinel if you really want some boom.
Warp >> shoot with fire ammo >> once you see the enemy look like they are on fire, hit them with an overload.
Geth have no chance.

Yeah, makes sense. I avoid the Reegar for the same reason. Looks like I'll put the combo back on the shelf; maybe use it on "special occasions."

Clever use of the game mechanics. And I like being clever.

But isn't that short-circuiting the glitchy DoT? It seems like what you're suggesting doesn't really take advantage of the glitch. Maybe that's your point?

Geth stunlock. Preatorian/scion armor piercing shots. Phantom near invincible cartwheels. Banshees 180° warp reroute. Every projectile locking on while tc. Cheap? Cheesy? Smart? Even?

Cheap as hell on gold... Its not necessary.
Its okay on platinum, especially if you are going for a bit more speed.

Cheap and cheesy.
Its only smart if you were the person to discover the glitch...
If you just read about it and used it that doesn't make you smart, it makes you cheap.

Asari Valkyrie + Reegar + Incendiary Ammo = clever use of game mechanics.
