 Hello everyone

I am currently doing my 2nd playthrough of ME2. I have the Genesis comic book and chose Liara as my romance option in that. 

In ME2 I want to choose Tali Zorah so I wanted to ask, does having a romance carry on from the first game mess things up? Or is it okay. Planning to continue this save to do my 2nd ME3 playthrough and continue with Tali Zorah in that so any help appreciated.

I think liara has something to say about it in LoTSB, If you romance someone else. I know she remarks about it if its Garrus.

Yes, Liara will make a crack about you finding out what's under Tali's helmet. Kaidan/Ashley won't be affected because you don't meet them in ME2 except before Tali even becomes recruitable (at Horizon), but will have something to say about it in ME3.

I think Liara has something to say in LotSB about all possible ME2 LIs. Some of her comments are wonderfully b!tchy.

Edited because the forum thinks discussion of a game in which there's some fairly strong swearing needs the word for a female dog covered in asterisks.

Don't mean to hijack, but I'm also replaying ME 1&2 and have quick question about romancing the ladies;

If I romance Liara in ME1, Tali in ME2, and go for Ashley in ME3, are there any interesting scenes/conversations?


Couldn't find any web results, and I am on Virmire right now, so if not, Ash is about to become literal...

Liara will comment on Tali during either Lair or ME3(as mentioned above). Ashley won't comment on either of them, I don't think (the main differences for her are dialogue/scene changes if you romanced her in ME1).

Darn, was hoping for some sort of comment from Ashley when Shepard lies and tells her "It's always been you".

Guess I can nuke her now.
