Simple advice for everyone who considers that any particular activity should not take place in game:

If you catch someone on your server who is missile glitching or is using any glitch you consider inappropriate, just ban their IP from connecting to your server for as long as you think it will take to convince them to stop. What devs or the community think about it is beside the point.

It is your server, not Bioware's and not BSN's. Take Back your server now, don't let others think they have rights over your personally owned equipment. Remember, they didn't work for and pay for your server. You did. That means you own it and no-one else (please note that communist societies may not agree, as always YMMV).

Logic in a game with space ninjas?

Well... I could start with the definition or a slightly exemple of the terms "postulat", ("let's say we are in 1881 and the steampunk technology exist", for exemple) and "logic" per se ("1+1 = 2", or the tool used to construct, based on the postulat),,  but I will simply state the fact that I am talking about multiplayer statement logic, not about gaming logic, not about lore logic.

And, the MP statements of BW is this :

- "balance is important to the game." (claimed by some BSN members also)
- "RC is a game mechanic". (claimed by some BSN members also)

Considering RC is an unbalanced mechanic, the logic is flawed.

So, why all the nerfs, buffs and other tweaks, if it is to let one of the most unballanced mechanics untouched ? Either you balance it (change the reloading time) or you supress it.

I love RC (except when I used three Ops packs instead of medigel with my badly made key choices). But everytime I do it I ask myself : "why the hell should I do that ? Ok so now this gun reolad as fast as the other hopeless gun I don't want to play with... That's fine but that's... too easy."

Surely, I am (and any body capable) able to play gold without it, so why should I stick to it, if only because I can ?

In case people have missed it, including Sirian, I am disabled.

If it's a mental disability then that explains a lot, and I might stop mocking you so much.

If it's just a physical disability then it doesn't excuse your stupidity.

hey I work with people who have developmental disabilities... And I lol'ed;)

I closed this thread last night right as it hit four pages. Figured it would be dead today, but thought I'd check anyway.

If you feel like laughing at Gallows and Sirian, it's worth the time.

One has to ask why is it a game mechanic, probably becasue the problem would be too tough to fix.  If they do not want relaods then speed up the animations or remove them.  I think the old it's a game mechanic is a cop out statement.

It's a game mechanic because it's cool and fun, raises the skill ceiling of the game, and is hidden. It appeals to many different players for different reasons. I can't imagine why you wouldn't like it unless you just don't have the capability.
