Study up on what denial of service attacks are and go from there and tell me how you cant fiddle with a host.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

^ copy that a few times over for my response.

Ok fully serious question now... do you honestly think that DDoSing the host of an ME3 game would make the host experience lag spikes, teleporting enemies, etc. in game?

You mofos don't read and just cherry pick what to use against me. I said START there and learn the way it works. You guys should be pundits or news reporters.

BREAKING NEWS: GallowsPole posts a moronic post!

Wait that's not breaking news at all. I'd make a lousy news reporter.

No...... we rely on what dataminers can tell us by studying game files. And it's clear from studying those game files that if this were a bug they could fix it in a weekly balance change.

Seriously, you really should think before you post.

All he's saying is that it started out as a bug. And it did. Not that it is a bug in ME3.

As I said, it started out as a bug, today a feature. I never said it couldn't be fixed, modified, changed, given dinner to. The concept and design itself is almost as old as you are.

No that's not all he's saying. He said that "it could be an unfixable error for all we know. We rely on what they [the Devs] tell us"

Come on Kenadian... I'm dealing with so much stupid already, don't you add to it, please.

By the way. I know DoS attacks take place from outside. I said learn how it works. A foreign concept to you since you wont take the time to learn what animation cancelling is.

Which goes towards your argument of what the devs tell us is always true arguments. It obviously was refined since now you can do it with one lame button press.

I have never said that what the devs tell us is always true. Can you even read properly?

He said it that time, correct. But it's been a general theme for him in this thread. For what it's worth, I could careless if it's a bug or not. It's kosher, so that's all I care.

Because the devs decide what is OK to do and what isn't. Since you can't come up with any logical arguments why RCing shouldn't be possible* but rather resort to imply people who are doing it are cheap/exploiters/elitist douchebags, please forgive people who - like me - facepalm at every single post you make on that topic.

*in which case we could actually have a discussion

I read fine. The only argument you have as a proponent of reload cancelling is that because the devs say we can do it, its legit. As Kenadian just pointed out.

Just because the devs say it, doesn't mean I have to like or agree with it. Im sure everyone in this topic can point to a balance change they didn't agree with and would like to see changed. Why is this any different?

There is no logical argument about the implementation of reload cancelling when the only thing I have to work with is because the devs say so. That's like saying I want to give an octopus 9 arms, but I cant cause God said so. End of discussion.

First of all, how is that me saying that the Devs always tell us the truth?

Second, when arguing about whether it's a legit mechanic or an exploit, the dev's opinion is the only one that matters. And don't even try the "well what if they said missile glitching was legit" thing. That's an incredibly dumb argument that cuts no ice whatsoever and is actually totally irrelevant to the argument at hand.

LOL Sorry if I take issues with that. I don't particularly like many EULA agreements, but I gotta suck it up and take it from the man.

People can disagree with a balance change or update, or not like them, but they can't say that people who make use of intentionally provided content are cheaters/bug exploiters. When the Krysae was released, nobody went around saying that everyone who used the Krysae was a cheater.

i think youve proven time and time again there is no logical argument against it either, but keep trying.

You can disagree about reload canceling but since it is official it is not a cheat or an exploit if you go on the forums and call everyone doing it a cheater someone is going to take issue.

With regards to reload cancelling, I will say that it is a fine line between cheating or not. While you may not call pre nerf Krysae users cheaters per se, what the heck woulda been the difference between that and missile glitching. It was almost synonymous. The only difference being, its in the game. That doesn't mean we have to like it and I should be able to have an opinion on it. I don't go around getting on everyone who calls a Reegar a n00b tube. Another weapon that blurs the lines. The only thing that defines a cheat is what the devs say it is, whether it really is or really isn't.
