Oh all right. Your lucky I'm Church of England.

:D

Out of Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan, who do you think made the better James Bond?

Pierce, mostly because for me he was my "first" James Bond. Though Daniel Craig is my favourite.

Given that your current intelligence level remained exact the same, would you rather everyone in the world be suddenly made less intelligent than you (meaning you are the smartest person in the world surrounded by idiots) or that everyone be made more intelligent than you (meaning you are the dumbest person in the world and you are surrounded by geniuses)?

I'm okay being the stupid one.

Have you tried Ni no Kuni?

I have not. I have heard only good things, but I believe it's PS3 exclusive, isn't it?

Sadly Ni no Kuni is PS3 exclusive, but you could easily borrow a friend's PS3 and the game once he or she's done with it. This game is a gem. <3 I say that, but I praise it mostly for the sound tracks and the world, it's just beautiful.

You must have some awesome friends if they let you bogart their entire console for an indefinite period of time...?

"Trading consoles" was super common when I was younger (read: 20 years ago).

"You have a Genesis? Want to borrow my SNES for a bit? I want to try some Phantasy Star!"

Allan, you don't have a PS3? Its odd to hear a game dev not at least have all the console by this point in the gen. Maybe its a misperception on my part, but it seems like someone in a position like all of you at Bioware would want to at least have the consoles (for exclusives like Ni No Kuni), no?

Ah. In my youth, it was more along the lines of "do you want to swap consoles?" and the response was "do you want to eat through a straw?"

The early 90's were a rough time. There was only the quick and the dead. And the console-less.

I'll see your Genesis, and raise you a Commodore 64.

Will a substantial part of DA3 be taking place in Orlais? Ever since we got the "somewhere French" hint, everyone has taken this for granted, but it has never actually been explicitly confirmed.

About party members in any of the games - I'd ask the writers whether they are given a character concept to develop and flesh out, or whether they are free to completely come up with something on their own?

Maybe this answers your question. It's not an EXPLICIT confirmation, but we'll likely be wisiting at least one Orlesian city. ;)

So very true, as we are about same age it was same with me and my friends, whether swapping my megadrive aka genesis with his snes so I could play mystic quest and him play shining force titles, my borrowing his to play secret of mana and him borrowing mine to play my buck rogers countdown to doomsday or phantasy star 4.

Eventually however I just bought a snes too so didn't have to keep swapping. As I grew up though I stopped lending out my games and such because people started to take advantage and I would ask for things back only to find out they had sold my games for pot or they asked a friend in common to pretend wanted to borrow it then that person lent it to the other and ended same way so I just stopped lending altogether.

Thanks for trying Domecoming, but it just bothers me that we can't be told something that we already know. (Or almost certainly know.)

I did lend my PS2 to a friend of mine because I had a PS3 back then. I would still lend my PS3 to my best friend if he asked. I have to make sure that I trust that person though. And I'm pretty sure people working around BioWare trust each other enough to borrow stuff, no? lol

Contrary to popular belief we don't roll around in beds of money, so owning every console + games is still quiet an investment.  The good news is we have a library at work where your can borrow any console or game anytime you want for as long as you like! (unless someone else is waiting for it)

I'm borrowing a PS3 today for exactly that, and journey. :wizard:

Unfortunately not a gajillionaire haha.

I have an XBox360 that I mostly picked up just for Rock Band 2 (but have since picked up other games for).  I'm primarily a PC gamer, and have no shortage of PC games to play usually.

I recently had to buy a car so money is a bit tight, so I'm mostly just playing through my Steam backlog (I haven't played like 2/3rd of my games)

I'm currently holding together my car with duct tape and prayer.

I only have one question: does Merrill have a last name? It occured to me the other night I don't know if she has a last name.

I remember a lot of , "I'll carry my PC and CRT monitor to your house so we can play on a LAN using this serial cable as a null modem," or something like that.

Pretty much one of you had to have a car for that to work.  Though I was a university student in the early '90s.

As a kid, you'd visit different houses based on what consoles they had.  One guy had an Atari 2600, another a TRS-80, another a Coleco Adam, another an Intellivision.  I had a Commodore 64.

My cousin would come over and we'd play Doom and Warcraft 2 over serial connection.

Until I snagged myself a 14.4k modem.

This question is for Allan Schumacher:

I remember reading back that you like Fallout. In the original, how did you like to play as? My favorite Vault Dweller build was a charismatic sniper whose lucky shots made enemies into a bloody mess.

I second this with every fiber of my being.

A savvy, loner gunslinger. High intelligence and some decent perception, that gets very proficient with small guns and energy weapons.

Tags usually in small guns, science, and doctor/first aid.
