If you could ask a DA:I dev one single question...

How do you pick the names for the characters (Player character/Companions/NPCs) that you create?
Is it a collaborative effort or is the person responsible for fleshing out the character also in charge of the name? Where do you draw inspiration from? Real-world mythology/history? Personal experiences? Random name generator? Do you have monkies throw darts on a chart with the alphabet? Just curious. Bioware has always been great at naming their characters, so it would be cool to get the inside scoop on how it happens.

14.4, ha. I remember when that was the $H!T.

In DA:O, my Grey Warden was a Warrior and specifically a Tank. She managed to survive her little scuffle with the Archdemon and moved onto helping refound the Grey Wardens in Ferelden.
I haven't decided on exactly what my final playthrough for DAII will be, but I'm leaning towards a Warrior for Hawke, and specifically a tank again. I really like playing tanks. While I could play as a mage in DAII (not really into playing Rogues, but that's just me), [SPOILERS FOR DA2] I'm also probably going to side with the Templars and aim for Hawke becoming the Viscount of Kirkwall, and being an apostate mage kinda makes that not make a lick of sense...[END SPOILERS]
So here's my real question: In DA:I, will there be a scenario where The Grey Warden, Hawke and your new character are all playable characters (even temporarily) and have to fight without anyone else? Seeing as I enjoy playing tanks, I'm probably going to lean towards making the new DA:I character a tank as well, and if Hawke is a tank, suddenly we've got 3 warrior tanks on the same team, and nobody else. Maybe if we're on easy mode we'll be fine, but on the harder difficulties, things will not end well and I don't want to be punished for decisions I made upwards of three years ago...
Logically speaking, due to not wanting to punish you for decisions that you wouldn't know would matter, they won't do this, but I'd like to know for sure because if there is a situation like I mentioned, then I can make my final DAII playthough as a mage, or just not a tank.

I'll see your Genesis, and raise you a Commodore 64.
I see your 64 (and it's a very nice 64, my favorite computer ever) and raise you a TI-99 4A.
My best friend had an Odyssey 2. Man, I sure loved Quest for the Rings!
And my brother, a bit older than me, had a Pong machine.

Oooh! Good question, I'd like to know this as well
Also, this question I guess somewhat relates to the one above, how do you come about creating the characters you write? Their personalities, etc. Do you have a specific process that helps inspire you to create characters? Do you just wait until something suddenly comes to you? Is there a specifc thing that you do or go to that helps you figure out what kind of character to write?

Nice! It took me about four tries to find the build that would work for me. I never realized that rats were so hard to miss.

What? Batman has tangled with the likes of Superman and Darkseid. You think a guy who shoots webs can hold a candle?
As for Wolverine, Batman would just turn on a magnet. Crisis averted.
I'm not saying Batman is the greatest hero of all time or anything crazy like that, but you're not really picking characters that match his caliber.

I believe Spidey could beat him. His strength, speed, agility and spider-sense out-do Batman's performance. No matter how well trained, a normal human isn't really that much of a problem for Spidey. Okay, Batman has lots of stuff to help him in battle. But Spidey has his web-shooters and a genius-level intellect. Plus he knows Kung Fu, and he doesn't have any physical weaknesses like Superman (if I remember correctly, during a Marvel-DC crossover in the faraway past, Spidey defeated Superman as well).
Wolverine is pretty strong, has heightened senses, is just as well-trained in combat as Batman, has way much more combat experience, is at least as smart as him, has an indestructable body and claws that cut through everything.

As in, really, really, REALLY big spiders. There were already lots of huge ones in DAO. Then DA2 came along and added more. And huger. If that's even a word. I don't think it is.
Will I be doing a lot of frantic running away and shrieking in the next game too?

I personally think it's time they moved away from usage of spiders completely, use giant ants, centipedes, moths, flies and vast amount of other insects in this world and I presume the DA world too. How about some giant frogs for a change or a giant snake like from FF7. There is a vastly tiny amount of monster types that they have so far used in DA, most of which are humaniod, demon/undead, dragons or dogs and spiders. I think it's about time they broaden their outlook and seriously broaden their bestiary.
