I'm pretty open in the types of games that I play.  Some of my favourite games all time are games like Deus Ex and System Shock 2, which are great mash ups of FPS and RPG gameplays.

I'm a big strategy gamer, and can sink countless hours into games like Civilization.  I am currently enthralled (again) with War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition which has a grognard level of detail that I just soak up and enjoy (just took Lunga air base in June 1942 after a week of fierce fighting!!  About to lose Java Island though!  ).  It's funny because I would consider RPGs my genre of choice, but I have easily spent more time in strategy games than any other genre.

One single question ? Then I'd go with one which requires to be deeply honest about the answer to have any meaning.

Being accepted that popularity is not necessarily correlated with quality (I suppose there is enough cash cow franchise churning horrible games/movies/whatever and making huge bucks to not make this a rhetorical point) :

If you had to chose between making the best game ever, but have it tanking, or making a mediocre game which becomes insanely popular... which would you honestly rather do ?

You're, of course, not allowed to use easy tricks to get out of the spirit of the question (like "well, it's all subjective y'know").

I was counting pennies to go to some secret school like Hogwarts but for game writing (not that I wouldn't anyways) and now I can just go buy a coffee (which is all I can afford) and write! Both Dragon Age: Redemption and Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker say Cassandra was a templar before becoming a Seeker.

I'd ask if that's true.

If so, that makes her old as hell, since Dawn of the Seeker supposedly happens 18 years prior to the Varric interrogation, and she had to be a templar a couple of years, innit?

I'd ask the Dragon Age team who they think is the most important character to the Dragon Age series? Or i'd just ask the writers if Flemeth and Morrigan are major/important characters to the Dragon Age universe?Oh and for a non-DA related question i'd ask if they could find a way to ship a hot plate of Poutine to me in CO.

Not entirely sure which developer would be in charge of this question, combat maybe? i've saw a few ask this question but never get a reply i would ask.

Will warriors be able to dual wield again? and any chance warriors could dual two two handed weapons.

I'd ask if emotion would be better made. This would either be a technical (frostbite 2) question, or a cinematic one. And by emotion, I mean the model's ability to express fear, anger and so on when certain events happen. If the Inquisitor PC sees something out of nightmares, and it is a cutscene, I would expect him to be a bit disgruntled or horrified, yet focused. And more importantly, not look like a fool in funny cartoonish ways. Unfortunantly, DA:O and DA2 had those problems but I understand the engine limits. Yet, with frostbite, Bioware should try to convey more realistic facial expressions, aimed to make us glimpse or feel what that specific character is feeling, rather than making us chuckle with weird expressions or glitchy cheek movement.

Just as an FYI, I haven't seen a single actual "game" question get answered in this thread. 

I'd say unless you have a silly/personal type of question (like what was your first car or what video games do you play), then this is the wrong thread to ask in, simply because they aren't going to answer any DA specific questions.

What alignments will we be able to make our Inquisitor? I was hoping to be able to make my Inquisitor seem chaotic neutral and hopefully have it reflected in the story. I am not sure how well it was implemented in the other games, but I want to save the experience for this game.
