David Gaider is the head writer.
David Gaider is often "moderating" this forums, rather frequently.
Uh, why? Did he lose a poker game or something to decide who the next staff moderator would be? Does he feel a sort of personal responsibility for the state of the forum? Does he feel a need to be in touch? Does he believe it gives us a feeling that Bioware is in touch? Do we provide inspiration for villains?
It just seems a bit counter-intuitive from my cynical and jaded perspective.

The problem is that no one knows who the magician is. Or what crazy, bizarre, insane rabbit that's going to pop out of anyone's hat.

It is likely that it will require Origin of course.
I sincerely apologize if this has been answered before and I will make an honest effort to avoid repeatedly asking questions answered in past threads, I tried searching and found one thread that is out of commission and a few other ancient ones.

How often is often? Gaider only shows up once, maybe twice a week, if at all. and even when he shows, I wouldn't exactly say he was moderating. He usually only gives the occasional warning to bring a derailed thread back on track or locks a troll thread, and those events are few and far in-between. Heck i've only seen him hand out bans twice and both times have a year gap between them.
Epler would've been a far more suitable dev for this question, as he can be seen moderating more frequently than any other dev.

Still, it is miles beyond what the ME devs do at the ME forums which is no appearance ever.

Context: I'm one-game-at-a-time player. I completely missed the first Dragon Age game and ignored the second while living through the Mass Effect trilogy. I'm going to wring as much joy as I can from ME3 MP in the next few months, but then I'm going to be looking for my next plunge. I know very little about the DA games.
Backstory: I fell magically into the Baldurs Gate games back in 2000*. Circled back to PS:Torment, then around to IWD and NWN before taking a long break from gaming. Mass Effect 2 brought me back into the fold about two years ago. It's been a blast but is clearly winding down. I also enjoy NetHack, Jade Empire, Richard K. Morgan, Gene Wolfe, Vance, Zelazny and Settlers of Cataan. Torment sits at the top of my list of gaming greatness.
Question: What's the hook that going to pull me deep into the new Dragon Age game?
Thanks!
*That included a brief foray into enemy AI scripting via a Yahoo group, where David Gaider occasionally graced us with his presence. Bioware had/has the best Devs imho.

Mustang. But to be fair it came much later in the war (and without the Merlin engine wasn't as awesome, so the Spitfire is still pretty awesome)
THANK YOU!
The last argument I had on the internet regarding this was with a guy who refused to believe it was due to the upgrades that made the P-51 a good plane (an equal, in my eyes). He was adamant that the P-51 was far superior than a Spitfire, simply because it used American fuel,

They probably have a mod that lets them romance Cassandra and Varric

Without going tooooooooooooo far off on this tangent (I'm a big WW2 buff), they were used for different purposes. The Mustang had the range, and was developed later, but the Spitfire whooped serious butt defending the Island (with the Hawker Hurricane).
I like the Mustang's versatility (range, can be a fighter bomber, etc) but few planes could turn like the Spitfire. If you're slugging it out in a dogfight and range isn't an issue, can't go wrong with it! Haha.
The way I saw it, the Hurricane and Spitfire held the fort for the first several years of the war, while US R&D (which didn't have to deal with strategic bombing) had the time to deliver things like the P-47 and P-51 to help deliver the knockout punch.
Someone showed me this fun music video just the other day actually haha:

Coarse another question, please I know EA wants multiplayer in every game that release's but if you do make it so that isn't part of the single player experience like in ME?
