If I could ask a DA:I dev one single question, my question would be this: What do I need to do to pursue a career in the video game industry as a storyline/dialogue writer?

I am a sixteen year old high school Junior, and I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I really look up to everyone at BioWare, especially David Gaider because he's created and written such amazing characters like Zevran, Fenris, and Viconia. His ability to make characters come alive through his writing has inspired me to follow my dream of being a writer.

I would love to be able to one day share my creations with the rest of the world in the hopes that they can come to life in the same way as Mr. Gaider's characters. I would really appreciate any advice that will help me pursue my dream career.

Thanks in advance for any replies and thank you, BioWare, for the awesome franchise known as Dragon Age. I eagerly await the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition. :D

Sorry, I missed your reply! Thanks for clarifying, I assume Chris is the eternal contender for human souls type of evil then while the rest of you guys are more of a workplace induced temporary kind. I can certainly relate.

Also, the trick mentioned above will revolutionize my future searches for evil quotes! Thank you!

will DA:I actually have different endings like DA:O? because frankly, bioware likes to promise that our decisions matter, but the feed us the same endings with different dialogue or color schemes.

When Inquisition hits the shelves, can the Bioware start selling some official DA smallclothes, please?

Every time I changed outfits in DAII I found myself thinking "Daaaaang I want a pair of those." :(

I hadn't even noticed and now I feel a growing urge to fire up my Xbox just to check out in-game underware. :? I could swear I wasn't a creap before visiting these forums.

DEVELOPER DEPARTMENT:

I appreciate simulation-strategy in rpgs; I relish in opportunity to reign as lord over a burgeoning estate. Diplomatic forays, economic prosperity- all help to further immerse myself into the story of the game.

Will the DA series ever include sim'-strategy gameplay within the scope of its games????

Heh, true.  However, my latest playthrough in ME3, I did hear the name "Holly Merizan" over the loudspeaker at Grissom Academy...Image IPB

Edit:  And as far as questions go:

Assuming Dragon Age lasts a long, long time, becoming an RPG staple, do you have any ideas what you will do with the title once you run out of yeears in the "Dragon Age"?

Nice! You really do seem like you guys have been working hard, Allan. Hope you and the team get to have some chill out time this weekend. Image IPB

This makes me sort of curious, though -- if you get caught checking the BSN at work, does that count as break-time social networking, or is it considered work-related and part of the job description?

Oh god yes....

Though we had a worse snowstorm last November, but it was pretty insane yesterday. Drove 20-30km/h pretty much everywhere.
