Faster Than Light actually had that problem for me when I first played it. SimCity has caused some issue but no overtly obvious lack of sleep days. XCOM did too... haha. Oh man... Basically check Red Bull stock price... if it goes up I probably stayed up too late.

Alistair. I just relate to him really well IMO.

This will only get me in trouble....

Stay up late more often as you help Red Bull keep their P-38 airworthyImage IPB.Operated under The Flying Bulls banner.

That is pretty good motivation. I will likely need one today as I stayed up too late playing SimCity and have a Game of Thrones season 2 marathon to attend.

P-38's are too pretty not to be in the air.  You're doing the world a service, Alan.

I love WW2 era fighters. Thunderbolt, Spitfire , Corsair, and of course the Mustang. There was an article on msa a week or so back, it might have been from an interview with Bill Gates, suggesting that people here in the USA learn to write code. I don't know how to write code, although I have thought about trying to learn. Should more people learn code ? Maybe it would help us fans understand the complexities of the game better.

You should be specific: Is it an african or european swallow?

My question: Will the combat mechanics for the different classes be closer to DA:O, DA2, or be something completely made from scratch?

It's Game of Thrones.  While I did consume caffeine via cola, I doubt it was necessary.

I have not seen the show, but am addicted to the books. Currently halfway through #3 after my fiance read them and kept talking about them, and spoiled some of them, she's so bad keeping quiet about spoilers.

So is that what you are doing up late again, Sim City?

It's only 1 AM right now. I just got home from the Game of Thrones screening (and curiously installing the RPG on steam right now).

Although I did just see my friend log in to SimCity and my download is only 50% complete.... >.>

Season 2 is so great, too. Is this your first time through, or are you doing a re-watch for Season 3's premier tonight?

What is the decision for Dev tool kit depended on? Since EA own Frostbite engine, Bioware wouldn't have to pay for licensing, right? Was it the cost related to making it user friendly?

If you haven't already, and you some how manage to find time enough, I highly recomend reading the books too! SoIF is amazing in all its forms and despite a few super minor minor changes in the story it's pretty damned fantastic adaptation.

You know nothing, Mr Shumacher!

Don't know if anyone asked that yet:

In terms of big events (death of 5th archdemon, Anders blows up the Chantry) how far ahead DA universe is written? (in-game years or number of installments/books)

Not hoping to receive something more that a very vague answer... or @-link to it.

I was not meaning to imply anything negative amount the writing team or their process. But from what I've seen and heard, no part or plan of the video game process survives as it was originally intended as the game is created. So I'd say even if the writing team has an idea of over-arching stories or plot threads, the details of such things are, by the very nature of being a video game, not nailed down in the least even during the creation of one game, let alone plans for future ones.

This isn't like a novel where a writer could have a clear start, middle and end. A video game can involve a dozen or more writers and have constraints or changes based on the requirements or developments of other departments on a day-to-day basis.

So any concept of things for future games (outside of DA3 at this exact moment) is, realistically, laugh worthy. As the old saying goes, the way to make God laugh is to tell him your plans.

True... Then I'll remake my question.

At what point (at time of DA2 development or later) DA team decided what DA:I's "big event" will be (Archdemon's death, chantry explosion)?.. If there is any.

I don't mean the whole sequence, but the name of the milestone.
