Which software(s) do you use for character modeling and/or environment?
If you could ask a DA:I dev one single question...

Their own engine right ? At least for DA, for ME they used Unreal.
Frostbyte 3 next.
I'd like to ask about terraforming though. Those mountain paths in DA2, the swamp in DAA and the elven forest in DAO were kick arse. What did you use to do it, was it built in in your engine ? I terraformed a mountain environment on SL (Mount Gagazet from Final Fantasy X) and boy what a nightmare!!! I got it to be pretty fun and walkable / rideable but making caves, waterfalls and just making the viewpoints to the beach and forests below took me weeks! And texturing ?? SL environment textures are weird and clumsy, only 4 textures with height levels, can't count how many times I got grass under water or coral on my forest floor

No, I'm not talking about the engine, I mean the software they use for modeling characters, like Maya for example.

Is it the writer who chooses the voice actor for his/her character?

Oooh I got one.
Has anybody from the Bioware dev teams ever tried their hand at voice acting?

Will Inquisitor's protagonist be with us for more than just one game?

For somebody that knows this:
Do character writers make concept art for their characters? If not, are there character writers that also make concept art for their characters? If so, is that seen as mostly a good thing?
How does the character writing and concept work in bioware anyway?
PS: This is a cool thread. Just saying.

Have you ever been tempted to try and take over the Alpha Protocol franchise and make a sequel?
