Even though they're not the writers, I would think that would be a somewhat biased answer.

:lol:Maybe- but most grown ups don't automatically vote for their own creations in a meaningless forum thread that's only around for 20 seconds worth of distraction and fun.  And if they do, who cares?  Like I said- just a fun little question on a random forum.

Oh no, I wasn't mocking the question. Just stating an opinion. I'd be interested to know as well. Just like how do you decide on the VAs for the character? Do they sound different in your heads before they get a voice? Do the writers get input for VAs?

Oh- cool beans, then.

And that^ is a good question.  I interviewed a screen writer for a paper while I was in university, and he said that sometimes he'll write a character with a specific actor in mind, and that when he doesn't, his perception of his character will change depending on the way the chosen actor plays the part, how he/shge sounds, and the idiosyncrasies he/she might "give" the character.  I wonder if it's the same for Bioware writers and their characters.

Whats the most ridiculous thing you've seen in the forum that you have implemented, or at least thought about implementing into the game?

I'd ask: what is the most ridiculous thing you've seen suggested on the forums?

I'd ask: what is the most ridiculous thing you've seen suggested on the forums?

I'd have to sift through the countless romance threads for specifics. Start there.

I would ask any dev...

Of all the games Bioware has created over the years, what was your favourite to create, write and/or play and why?

Ooooh- good question!  SO here's mine to any dev who wants to take a few seconds-long break from hard work and  reality (Cause we're all aware that these forums resemble reality about as much as a koala resembles a grizzly, right?): Do the devs have favorites, as in favorite DA 'verse characters?  If so, will you tell us?

For the first game, definitely Alistair.

I'll probably go with Isabella in the second, but Varric is suuuuuuuuper close.

My question would be for the multiplayer/gameplay mechanics department.

Will I be able to play as a Sylvan/Malibari/Werewolf/Golem/Awakened Darkspawn alongside my Human Templar brother?

I am confident in the single player side of the game, my interest is on the multiplayer and whether I can play as the fantasy creatures in a co-op environment.

Great thread idea. I have no clue what to ask, but here's something while I'm at it:

At this point in development, how demanding do you imagine the game will end up being in terms of PC system requirements? For perspective, my laptop meets the ME3 and DA2 recommended settings. Would it be able to achieve that with DA3?

I'll see if I can think of more... exciting questions down the road!

What do the Devs think of the dialogue system used on The Old Republic for the main character? to elaborate, in TOR you have more than 3 personalities for the player to chose from in their responses but in every conversation only 3 are available, this means that in some responses you might have to go without the (to use a DA2 example) Diplomatic personality, but it also means more varied main character options for roleplay. It also has the advantage that it keeps you from simply deciding that your character will be Diplomatic and then proceed to simply pick the appropiate icon for the next 40 hours

Would the devs be interested in exploring this type of dialogue system? or is the DA2/ME standard here to stay?

Here's another one to the devs:

If you had a magic wand that could make the next sequel to a game series, what game series would that be? Active or dormant, your pick.

Heck, I'll be generous and say you even get to pick THREE if you want! Change the wand to a genie lamp.

Do any of the devs here have fond memories of the toolset and multiplayer of BG2 and NWN?
