Hey PLF.

I call him the Child because that's all we definitely know about him.  Some think he's the Intelligence mentioned in Leviathan; others think he's Harbinger; and there are probably other theories, maybe he could even be Sovereign or Shepard!

The point being, I don't call him the Kid because I'm trying to discredit him.  We don't know 100% who he is.  

In the in-game subtitles he's referred to as the "Child", hence that's what I call him more often than not.
