It's kind of funny OP, that you mention this, but the first time I encountered The Catalyst, and it told Shep "Wake Up!", I thought,what a brat..so I thought of megabrat. But as the posts grew to disassemble the importance of the intelligence quotient of that character, it became apparent, that humans were involved with The Catalyst. We just don't know how,exactly to address its personna,as it's not really explained, other than a bratty kid image that bascially makes Sheps life miserable.

It's a no brainer to understand a certain amount of.... resentment toward a super being with little to NO vocabulary..that can alter time space down to the molecular level..and call it "son"...

But, its a new idea that it's countanance reflects any benevolence on it's part, as that really isn't the case. It doesn't feel or care, it only acts on it's programming. Both a curse and a blessing really, or the crucible would've been just a redundant unit IF it did...(have human/organic emotions, such as fear,etc)

Has nothing to do with 'whiners'. The thread has no legitimate purpose. But I guess if the title praises Bioware, the mods won't even look into it.

i used to think it was worth it to not install the EC if i finished the ending because then i could continuously shoot the catalyst in the face. over and over, id shoot him in the face. circle strafing around him was the best. but the thing is, the catalyst doesnt recognize me shooting him in the face. so i install the EC so the catalyst can feel me shooting him in the face.

then i guess i just die and the next cycle wins.

youd think spending a ridiculous amount of time making choices and metagaming and sinking hours into this trilogy, youd get an ending worth expecting.

nope, i die staring out a window or some ****.
