when I have over 1200 hours logged, I will likely also consider gold to be fairly scrubbish. Until I have a team that I consistently play with/ win with, gold is plenty fine.

GT same as here and I still play a lot. I'm in Oregon so depending on where in Arizona you are, I'm either an hour behind you or on the same clock as you (I think, or is that after Spring forward, I forget when Arizona's time matches pacific time, except for that one little corner of the state that does daylight savings).

I work nights on the weekends so I only play early morning then (and usually only silver as my play time is very limited). On my days off I play for hours at a stretch (I'll hope on somehwere between 8pm and 2 am and stay on until 8 or 9 in the morning) and the level I play varies more.

One hour difference between us right now.  It is pretty interesting living in a state with no daylight savings.
