Nothing beats washing a bowl of rice for 40 minutes!
Not even preparing sushi for 1,5+ hours and eating it in 10 minutes!

Buying sushi most of the time is robbery.

I always wanted a Wendy's. But we don't have them here. But I had a large Domino's pizza tonight instead.

There are no good affordable sushi places here. I have to settle for super-market sushi from fred meyer or nothing, and between you and me I am getting sick of california rolls and kappa maki.

I love sushi!
There's this great sushi place in the city where I live that has the best sushi I've ever had. I eat any kind of second-rate/food court/mall sushi anymore because it just doesn't compare. They make it fresh there and have sushi that is both traditional, and some with western influences. Like soft shell crab & wasabi mayo, wagyu beef.... so many good ones!
I'm going there on Wednesday with my friends again.

Lol seriously?
Its so rad though. Like we go in a big group, and the servings come in plates of 4 so we order like 3 different types each and put it all in the middle and just go to town. So much fun. This time there's 8 of us.... that's a lot of sushi!

Hmm I'm planning to go to a Japanese diner I know of in the local area and getting some sushi soon (they have more stuff than that though). When it comes to that I have no prefernce really, minus I don't like tuna, also sashimi is very much hit or miss for me.

I can deal with maki, sashimi, etc etc. I like to experiment with things I don't know.

I love Sushi, even though my favorite is the California Roll.
