So, no full patch notes yet?  Pity.  I don't really like hoppin' into something with changes I don't know of.

These are the patch notes. Only two bug fixes and its MP related.

So which one is correct?

These are the patch notes. Only two bug fixes and its MP related.

Nope. The patch includes some other changes such as balance of collectors and removing of Acolyte's charge. So that means patch notes ain't full.

That's all?

Well, I didn't really expect another patch, but if you made the effort, why didn't you fix the many other little bugs at the same time?

Like

1. the Vanguard can't charge enemies in certain spots (the landing zone on Hydra being the most prominent)

2. the Vanguard charge sometimes not going off (despite no cooldown), especially against Atlasses

3. the Vanguard charge going off, but without getting your shields replenished

4. the Shadow not being able to ShadowStrike Atlasses at all

5. The Tactical Cloak for the Huntress not giving any weapon bonusses (don't tell me that was intended from the beginning, because why would you buff the TC-bonusses for the powers with the next Balance Changes then?)

6. Graphical issues like the Shuttle remaining at the drop off zone forever, dead boss enemies (most likely again the Atlasses) remaining on the Battlefield even after being killed.

7. You had announced to buff the Krysae a little again after the missile glitch issues have been fixed.

8. what about the many host-client connection issues. At least on Xbox we often experience that one person can't join the host (and instead of getting a proper error message, that person is just stuck endlessly in the blue loading screen. And no, it's NOT Xbox Firewall related, because this happens between people having played together for weeks without issues and having changed NOTHING in the firewall configurations). Then we have to either change the host to get all 4 people into the same lobby or sometimes just create a new lobby (on the same host!) to get it fixed.
It also happened more than once that after a disconnect of the host, not all of the remaining players were joined into a new lobby. Sometimes nobody could continue the game and we were all stuck in a dead game with not-moving enemies.

Sometimes when you join a game in progress, you can't see the objectives properly and/or the timer is showing nonsense.

Sometimes after starting a fresh game some clients can't see: certain enemies (like phantoms), none of the enemies, one or two of their squadmates. The sound goes suddenly off etc. etc.
Next game everything is ok again.

9. what about the weapon related bugs discovered and explained here at BSN in all length?
For example the fire rate bug for the Hurricane and other fast firing weapons. If you combine them for example with fire rate increasing powers like Marksman you suddenly have more bullets just doing nothing instead of hitting the target.
Or the combine Warp with Incendiary ammo to deal an insane amount of DoT bug (well I am not really complaining about this one :-) ).

10. What about the many bugs on Firebase Condor? Starting with the ammo crates and finishing with the invincibility bug. BTW: connection problems (players not seeing each other or certain enemies) seem to happen more often on this map. Anytime we play Unknown/Unknown and see Condor as the result we hold our breath. And then we ask all the other squadmates automatically if they can move around, see each other, see the enemies etc. Because this has happened just too often especially on this map.

11. If you already addressed the collectors, why didn't you fix the Praetorians at the same time? "Butt lazers" has become a new buzz word here in the forum for a reason. Plus those Praetorian lasers have the annoying trait to sometimes even penetrate extremely thick cover and hit you behind (or better: through) it.

12. there are probably many other similar bugs I am forgetting right now. Sorry, there are too many to have them all in your mind. Many are not big game brakers, but still if you did a patch anyway you could have addressed them as well. And some - especially the Vanguard related ones - can be pretty annyoing especially on higher difficulties.

We know from experience that many bugs don't matter (or don't even show up) on silver. But on higher difficulties, those bugs sometimes can ruin a game completely.

Don't get me wrong. As a player who maxed out his manifest without resorting to any type of cheating, I highly appreciate finally getting the annoying missile glitch fixed.

But I consider this patch a big missed opportunity and don't know if there will ever be another one to address the many remaining bugs in the game. And that leaves me a little disappointed, to be honest.

Well, I applied the patch.

Now I can't play the game at all.

It gets to the "enter to start" screen, tells me that Origin is not running when it clearly is - since I start the game FROM ORIGIN - and then shuts down.

It worked fine until I updated.

Any way to reverse this apparently already broken patch?

Turns out all ya gotta do is add an exception to your firewall for Origin and the ME3 .exe.  Go figure.

That's what I'm wondering.Edit: I found out that it was an error. Those 2 fixes are for patch 1.02. I don't know those 2 got into the patch notes for 1.05. BTW, I let Chris Priestly know about it and the patch notes for 1.05 are now fixed.

That is part of the problem see Mass Effect started as single player and not multiplayer Bioware needs to remeber that. Yes DLC and patches for single player are alittle more difficult but shouldn't just be ignored like they have seemed to do lately IMO.Image IPB

There seems to be more than just those two fixes in the patch.
It also seems to be preparation for the next MP DLC of some sort (at least someone datamined it and said that infos about oncoming MP stuff is in there).
Despite that, 11 MB is a bit large for just those two fixes.

Anyone else having lip sync/and character facial animation issues after installing this patch? It happens right before the assault on the cerberus base. This is no longer a problem if I uninstall it as I checked, I'm wondering if it affected more parts of the game. I'm on the 360 btw. I know most of what the patch fixes are multiplayer related, which is even weirder.

Any other people noticing in MP that if you have all your characters maxed-out, after installing the patch you now receive gold character cards in spectre packs. This should not be happening.

Sorry, I am not playing the SP anymore.

I can't bring myself to ever endure this sorry kind of excuse for an ending again. (And I don't want to start that discussion again. I am just stating the reason why I won't play SP again. And it's just my personal opinion that hasn't changed despite Extended DLC and watching all kinds of theorie (Indoctrination etc.) clips on youtube. So if anybody has a different opinion, I am fine with that and happy for him.)

To give you an example how less inclined I feel to touch the SP again: I bought the Leviathan DLC about 2 weeks after it came out and it took until a week ago (translates to many month that passed in the meantime), that I finally brought myself to play it. The reason being that my Xbox Gold membership had expired and I was too lazy to go and get my wallet with the credit card. So I decided to finally take a look at the DLC. Don't feel inclined to play it through again on Insanity though.

So I don't really care for the bugs in the SP (of course I encountered enough of them). But since any bug usually doesn't bother you more than maybe requiring one reload of the last save, it isn't the same as for example the Vanguard bugs that have the power to ruin the fun for playing an entire class on gold or platinum.

Does this patch cure the. DO NOT STAND HERE OR BE FOREVER ROOTED TO THIS SPOT problem in the cockpit? Cause as commander I want the right to walk wherever I please on my own ship. Even over a hazard sticker on the floor!
