just to clear up any confusion (as it is) it is not that I do not care about your plight, far from it (hate what BW has wrought) I just can't care anymore about trying to wake people from their stupor, from just accepting what EA and BW do...

I won't even try to make you understand my reasoning any further.

as for your update problem, can you describe the problem in a bit more detail, please?

I guess that you started ORIGIN, the programme downloaded the newest upgrade, then downloaded the ME3 patch 1.05, which got stuck on verification, is this correct so far?

Have you tried repairing your installation? Patches usually get installed at the same time the installation is repaired and verified.

There is a new Mass Effect 3 patch now available for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 .

Content:
Fixed a multiplayer issue where users could have all of their weapons use rocket ammunition.
Fixed an issue with high memory usage when initializing DLCs.
 

This new patch (February 2013) is glitched and freezes my XBOX.   There was a patch released back in April 2012 which caused the same problem, from what I've read on BSN and other forums.

This might be a loading issue. I've seen bad lip sync delays, horrible cutscene facial animation muck ups that were not there before. Also auto save/loading screen stuttering that makes me feel a console lock up is coming. My playthroughs ran smoother with out this as I've checked while I deleted the update, and I'm sure it needs to be downloaded for this upcoming dlc which is unfortunate.

I'm not sure what you mean by "loading issue".  The game loads fine, but it freezes the whole XBOX console immediately after establishing a connection to EA servers, requiring a hard reboot.  We have 2 other XBOX Live accounts in this household and they can both connect fine to EA servers in Mass Effect 3.   

Anyhow, I spoke w/ two people from EA Tech Support (via chat and phone, but Level 1 support) and apparently the recent 1.05 Title Update from EA/Bioware has glitched my entire user profile on their end.

If anyone else is experiencing this specific problem, I would suggest opening a ticket with EA -- hopefully they can correct it, as the recent update potentially breaks all functionality of the game.

After the patch I can't play at all. I'm stuck on title screen with 'Origin has stopped working. ME3 will shut down'. And I'm back to windows.

This is nice, I was hoping for more.. apparent bug fixes. On the PC, I have never once encountered a missile glitcher. Good patch though, ty.

How about a patch that fixes those glitches and gripes sprinkled in the Omega DLC. Mainly, a strange glitch that causes characters talking during cutscenes to jump all over the screen. As well as Aria kept sliding around the screen in a pretty creepy way that totally detracted from what was supposed to be a pretty cool moment.

Or you can cut the marksman ability out of her skill list by re-distributing her points in the Normandy Medical Bay. That is if you want to keep squad power usage on like me... but the leaves her down one skill. I started ME3 up after the patch that caused this issue... so it took me a while to figure out what the hell that damn noise was when I had her in my squad. Then I found her crouched behind cover doing absolutely nothing, other then playing with her omni tool.
I wouldn't be surprised if it never gets fixed, Bioware probably has no ****ing clue its even broken. All they seem to really care about is online multiplayer now... even the new DLC that's coming out is apparently going to be some kind of hybrid, 6 story missions that has co-op somehow... That's just what I heard, heck if I know.
But whatever it is will most likely have some negative affect on the single player... like Commander Shepard not being able to fire his gun or something... but hey at least we still have multiplayer.

Since the patch I have been getting gold character cards in premium packs for character finished LONG ago.

this patch is just something allowing for the 2 new dlcs the last multiplayer one followed by the singleplayer dlc which will most likely be wrexs last missions with shepard as wrex will more than likely die at the end

It seems after the patch, for PC version the game crashes more often when I choose multiplayer in the main menu. Or is it just me?

Warning: patch 1.0.5 may corrupt some of your DLC data.

If game blocks one of your DLCs after the patch (states that it's unable to authorize DLC) - contact EA customer support and problem will be fixed in matter of minutes. Re-installation will not help (fix has to be done on server side).

Hope this info will help people, who had the same trouble
