Bioware desperately need to release two seperate patches one for singleplayer one for mplayer to comprohensively resolve longstanding and new bug problems

They don't care about singleplayer in ME3 from very beginning, but they want to sell more singleplayer DLC's...

And they do care about multiplayer in ME3 by releasing patches for it, but multiplayer DLC's are free...<_<

Will start playing Mass Effect 3 once these annoying single player bugs are fixed. Until these single player bugs are fixed, I will no longer buy anything related to Mass Effect 3. Simply because I got the game only for single player.

Guys, I'm way too far into this thread to know what's going on; can someone give me the CliffsNotes version of the bugs that this patch introduced into the SP?

Per this thread:

1. Fixed a multiplayer issue where users could have all of their weapons use rocket ammunition.
2. Fixed an issue with high memory usage when initializing DLCs.

I've seen others citing that Collectors are now being dealt the correct amount of damage from power combos, but I'm not sure if that was a balance change on their servers that just happened to match the timing of the update or if it was an actual result of this Title Update/patch.  Balance changes happen almost every week and don't necessarily require a Title Update to occur.

From what I've read here on these forums the recent 1.05 patch does NOT actually fix the missile glitch, but it does cause some EA profiles to freeze the console as soon as a connection is established to EA servers. (!)

Aw hell. And just when I was thinking about playing both MP and SP again. Well, I won't be updating until I know all that stuff is worked out, thanks!

No changes to single player though, right?

If you play through the ending of the game with Extended Cut DLC installed, but Leviathan DLC NOT installed, you get sort of "flash-forward" scenes when asking the Catalyst for details about each choice available to you. They are sort of like "preview scenes" that show what will happen for that particular choice. However, with the Leviathan DLC installed along with Extended Cut, those scenes do not play when asking the Catalyst the same questions. You can tell they are missing because Shepard's head sort-of jerks up at the point the scene is suppossed to end.

You can see the scenes that SHOULD play starting at 7:30 in this video:

The bug even cuts a line the Catalyst should say when asking for more details of the Destroy ending.

For me as well, this bug affects the beginning of Priority: Earth as well. On my main guy, I got peace between the Quarians and the Geth and when the fleets are checking in at the beginning of the mission, when the scene showing the Quarian captain sitting down plays, it's all scrambly and unwatchable.

Ok tronar well spotted with bugs in mp now list minor and major ones for sp

Sorry, I am not playing the SP anymore.

I can't bring myself to ever endure this sorry kind of excuse for an ending again. (And I don't want to start that discussion again. I am just stating the reason why I won't play SP again. And it's just my personal opinion that hasn't changed despite Extended DLC and watching all kinds of theorie (Indoctrination etc.) clips on youtube. So if anybody has a different opinion, I am fine with that and happy for him.)

To give you an example how less inclined I feel to touch the SP again: I bought the Leviathan DLC about 2 weeks after it came out and it took until a week ago (translates to many month that passed in the meantime), that I finally brought myself to play it. The reason being that my Xbox Gold membership had expired and I was too lazy to go and get my wallet with the credit card. So I decided to finally take a look at the DLC. Don't feel inclined to play it through again on Insanity though.

So I don't really care for the bugs in the SP (of course I encountered enough of them). But since any bug usually doesn't bother you more than maybe requiring one reload of the last save, it isn't the same as for example the Vanguard bugs that have the power to ruin the fun for playing an entire class on gold or platinum.

Truer words have not been said.

The cut Catalyst line is actually for more details of the Control ending, not the Destroy ending.

Well, considering Bioware haven't fixed The Illusive Elusive Man's "possessed" arm during the cutscene on Mars, which has been present since day 1... I'm going to presume that only bugs that affect functionality will be considered for patching.
As for this patch fixing 2 things; yep probably true, but it also contained prep for future DLC - which is not a fix per-se.

For me that's not an issue as those scenes werent needed as you see them in the end anyway.

I could be wrong, but it looks like they fixed the 6th Rank "Squad Bonus" of James's "Arms Master" class passive (before the 20% health/shield bonus wouldn't apply to Shepard and the other squad member, but now it seems that it does)

EDIT: Ok, scratch that, they didn't fix it after all.... the 20% bonus did apply to the squad for one mission, but after that, it stopped working as usual. :pinched:

They've locked out editing the coalesced.bin??? I've never played MP due to me being on satellite internet, so I know edits to that file can get you in some serious trouble in MP matches....but my SP plays I liked using the Fly Cam to grab some screen shots. But now since this patch I can't add the edits into the file any longer....it automatically deletes once I click "Save".

And this patch has overwritten Coalesced files OUTSIDE of Origin and Mass Effect folders too.....my backup (copies of coalesced) files have been rewritten now. I NEVER gave Origin or EA permission to write to files outside of their directories.

You sure? Cause I just edited the updated Coalesced file yesterday (after having to reinstall the game from scratch and download ALL of the freaking DLC again...) and added both the Flycam back to the game and removed weapon weight penalties (for playing SP only) and I've had no problems with the game overwriting my changes.
