finally a fix on the PC crash to desktop on start up, this has come after months of BW and EA not even recognizing that there is a problem ON THEIR SIDE (instead they were insisting that players do everything from reinstalling the game, to reinstalling windows)

So that's a PC-specific fix?  I was wondering what that was referring to.

Fixing memory usage is always a good thing.

Thanks, gents.

Yes. A lot of people get a crash to desktop when the game is loading into the main menu (which is when all the DLC loads as well). I've all of a sudden been getting them more frequently lately. 2 in a row today!

Let's face it- if the missile glitch is finally and forever fixed with this patch- this is kind of..THE PATCH of all patches for us. Admit it. Because trying to get rid of the missile glitch is like trying to rid the world of roaches.

Eh, I've yet to actually encounter a missile glitcher. Definitely important, but not what I was hoping for the most. I'm still sitting here wishing that the AR HVB will be switched to the 65% armor negation, 25% weapon damage variant. 'cause let's face it, the current AR HVB is ****, and the 65/25 HVB would be more effective on all but 2-3 ARs.

I'd also like the Hawk Missile Launcher's normal/cobra missiles to be worthwhile. Considering the alternative (Hydra evo), the Cobra evo absolutely underperforms. And due to the bad tracking normal (and cobra) missiles have along with the hefty shield penalty, investing anything less than the full 21 skill points to bring the HML up to rank 6 is a no-go. It would be very, very nice if that was not the case.

If accurate, it'll be fantastic. Forgive my skepticism, but the rocket glitch has been "fixed" a few times in the past. Here's hoping, though.

The Extended cut dlc?
The lag in the scenes you added for London before going up the beam had(have) a lot of lag on PS3.

No shockwave glitch fix?
No warp/incineration glitch fix?
No tech explosion glitch fix?

Are you serious? A patch just to fix two issues when there are so many issues that still hasn't been addressed in SP? :/

I... just -- I'm going to lie down because this headache is currently mocking me.

Yeah I was hoping that the Extended Cut/Leviathan bug would be fixed. Oh well. Better than no patch at all.

Even though I'm on PC and have never once seen a missile glitcher, I still have to say this about it.

A thought.

Missile glitching is a big deal.

Collector bugs needed fixing.

System overloads/crashes need fixing.

So patch 1.05 comes out because a larger patch is not ready yet and they don't want to delay these any longer. Don't gripe, BioWare is posting a patch early, probably broken out from the larger patch, to address the most vexing issues in MP.

I'm glad to see the missile glitch fix, but I was hoping for more from what I assume to be the final patch. I know you guys are bound by NDAs and can't make any comment as to whether there might be further patches, so I won't ask.

If there's ever another, I'd love to see:
-- Pull tweaked to increase its utility along the lines of Singularity, although obviously not to the same extent. Even a substitution of the recharge speed evo at rank 6 (in place of double throw in SP, I think) for a shield-affecting evo like Lash's would make an enormous difference.
-- MP tweaks to Singularity and power combos added to SP
-- Various minor glitch fixes

Again, I appreciate the patch and don't mean to come off as an ingrate, it's just disappointing that glitchers' behavior took up dev resources that could've gone to improving content at a time when (many of us assume) the game's development cycle is rapidly winding down.

Thank you very much, Chris & Team!

Missile glitching was a plague. Finally I can play platinum with less than four people because we won't have to kick missile glitchers for 20 mins straight before we can start a legitimate game.

Tomorrow?

Is it, perhaps... bundled with more information on other things?

DLC RELATED THINGS??

Thank you, BW, for taking the time to improve our gaming experience when you are under no obligation whatsoever to do so. The vast majority of us appreciate your efforts regardless of the scope of the patch.

Cheers.

Has to be enemies. Until your post I wouldn't have even thought of the weapons.
