It seems that the ending to Rocket Glitching has arrived (ME3: Patch 1.05 will be released TODAY)...

Well, let's just hope that the patch doesn't break anything too important...

Because, I'd hate for the patch to introduce a bug which, y'know, resulted in Geth Primes being unable to summon turrets or drones, or, a bug that reduced scion cannon damage to SENSIBLE levels....

Yeah, I'd really hate it if the Arsenal pack starts giving you 5 URs in one pack... :?

Hey, maybe this means they'll have given the typhoon back its 2.0x ramp up...

Oh yeah, that's not going to happen. Have a heavy-as-f*ck UR assault rifle be the best boss killing gun in game? Not acceptable... Keep incendiary lolreegar w/ HVB as the best boss killer gun in game? Yeah, totally acceptable.

Biower's lolbalance. Because, lolreegar should totally be a better boss killer than an ultra-rare AR.

Either nerf the f*cking lolreegar, or buff the typhoon, or don't dare talk to me about "balance" biower.

WTH is rocket glitching? I'm so glad I'm not a hardcore enough player to care about breaking the game.

... I'm crossing my fingers that any acolyte issues is from data copied from before the acolyte was reverted in the balance changes. Which means that it can be re-reverted again.

So it seems.

And it doesn't make me that happy, too. Image IPB

The acolyte change might be one of a number of measures designed to prevent missile glitching. If this is the case then chargeless acolyte is here to stay.

This is just my theory; could be wrong.

It will be reverted again. Most likely (similar to pre-buff submossion net for the vorcha hunter) the patch code was a previous version, and didn't have balance changes applied to it. If they worked with a version of ME3's files which had the acolyte without its charge, then the chances are the copied over files changed it again.

Balance changes in 2 weeks should rectify the situation.

Bioware removed the charge? Man, I wish there was 2 versions of acolyte in the game to make everyone happy.

So they fix the missile glitch and took the Acolyte charge away again? There goes the PUGs again. Why don't they just remove it off the Arc pistol too to totally make the game lame.

I'd prefer seeing a mix of various acolyte characters in my PUG lobbies rather than just the hundreds of turian ghosts with harriers we have now, but maybe that's just me.

It appear to be, however, this is most likely a small snafu involving the patch branch of the game not being up-to-date with the weekly balance changes, other things might have changed as well and they might have to reapply the weekly changes once all patch versions are out.

Acolyte lost the charge again?

Ya know, the only way I could accept this as the norm is if the gun did exactly as described. Shields/barriers ONLY. Meaning you could fire 3000 shots at a dragoon or even a basic trooper and it wouldn't kill it.... ever. Shooting a phantom would take its barrier, but never kill it.
