Ya know, the only way I could accept this as the norm is if the gun did exactly as described. Shields/barriers ONLY. Meaning you could fire 3000 shots at a dragoon or even a basic trooper and it wouldn't kill it.... ever. Shooting a phantom would take its barrier, but never kill it.


Just nerf every speck of damage but shields. Problem solved. I don't want to see it turned back into a crutch gun again.

This my fear. The charge-less Acolyte is a massive target for getting hit with the nerfbat.

I've seen a big stonking zero missile glitchers since the Cobra was buffed to fire immediately.

The patch is already out on PS3 and I can also confirm that the acolyte´s charge is removed

Too bad they don't exploit any glitches whatsoever, they just reload cancel. ;) Isn't a worry compared to my ClayMOAR.

That said, there are still a few glaring issues...
Snap Freeze's bugged combo damage evo being always on, even when not chosen
Snap Freeze being able to prime a target without freezing it
Sync Kills not properly working when there is a vertical difference between player and mob
Stop taking off the Acolyte's charge for any reason whatsoever. The charge makes it a more potent weapon, and also apparently makes it "harder"... somehow
Shadow Strike, like sync-kills, cannot properly target on a sloped surface, or against certain foes
Reapers are still a bit too soft around the edges and probably need a buff, or to give fewer credits
Collectors should give more credits if fought
Prevent modding of certain cinematic aspects of the game (you know what I'm talking about... :devil:)
Automatically ban anyone who fires off more rockets than they carried into the match
Enable volus to activate their heavy melee while holding and charging a charge weapon
Clarify loading tooltips - including telling the player that DR applies to base damage, and enemies get a 40% bonus for capping heroes who aren't in cover
A few other things but not anywhere near as bad as Bethesda. Did anyone ever play Brink in it's horrible lagginess when it came out? :P

I think Bryan J said that we can expect the patch to arrive at 6pm GMT. PS3 just got it earlier.

BTW PS3ers... Would one of you kindly check Rio and see what the box looks like? Sooo curious!

Awesome. Haven't used it much since it went back to the silly charge-then-fire mode it originally hand.
