Alright so I open up an area from the single player campaign in the toolset (for instance post-coronation epilogue), then export a .dlg file (for instance Anora's), open it up in the toolset again, and all I see is a bunch of collapsable strings and references, without any actual dialogue lines.
Is it possible to somehow see a full, branching conversation like you could with the NWN toolset? If so can someone please post a specific step by step guide on what files to open and export to view Anora's conversation in the epilogue? Thank you!!
How exactly do you view conversations in the toolset?

open single player campaign then dont open the area but the conversation instead. You can change the resources currently being listed in the palette window. Select the conversations tab, then open one.

Hmm just use the Conversations button (like for areas, scripts creatures and alike) .
There you can see the dialogues tree like in NWN.

So which files exactly do I need to open/export? Sorry if I'm a little slow, but I have absolutely no clue how to use the toolset, and messing around with it for like an hour last time I couldn't figure it out.

You don't need to export anything. On the right hand side of the screen, at the top, there should be a list of little icons - put the cursor over them and 'areas', 'conversations', 'cutscenes' 'characters' etc. should pop up. Click on the one that says 'conversations'. A list should appear, mostly made up of names of the main DA quests, plus some other stuff. Click on one of them, then click on one of the conversation names that appears (e.g. cutscene_intro) and the first line of the conversation should appear.

Do I need to open a file beforehand, or do they appear as soon as I load the toolset?

Edit: Someone has the same idea than me. At least I've put a pink arrow

Second thoughts, perhaps you should just bump one of your many, many threads on the same subject.

Thanks to both of you!! Which file did you export those .dlg files from though?
EDIT: I did a search for "conversations" and "dialogues" in this forum and didn't find any threads which explained it clearly enough for a layman like me to understand!

Ok, I figured this out. Evidently you have to set the module from demo to campaign in the File menu. Seems simple in retrospect, but isn't immediately obvious.
