Recently got the Mattock to 3, and love it. Rarely run out of ammo as I hit boxes as I move around, good accuracy, and the lower rate of fire doesn't bother me. Just feels nicer than the other ones I currently have.

Valkyrie. Hands down. My favorite in SP and even though I have only a Valkyrie 3 in MP, I destroy everything with that gun. The 3x headshot multiplier with the recent balance change made it even better. I can pull a gold headshot medal every game with that gun.

I like the revenant too although it does catch a lot of flak.

Since 90% of ARs are garbage, I'd say Falcon, PPR, Harrier and MAYBE Typhoon (needs a buff)

I'm actually really partial to the phaeston. It's not the best (for that, I have to give it to the harrier) but I think this is one of the coolest looking weapons (holstered and deployed) as well as the animation as it unfolds when you equip it and unequip it.

Too bad it doesn't perform as well as some others. I also really like it's sound. The only negative I have about it, is that I cannot stand marauders using it to such great effectiveness.

Saber's my favorite for the sound it makes, and having just tried it despite the buffs having been months in the past, I have to say it's one hell of a gun now. Granted I was using it on the Ghost. Only took three games to get the assault rifle points for it though.
