I hadn't played in nearly a year, and just recently started a new game. I'd forgotten how good the characters and dialogue are!

yes.. I had a PC copy laying around that I never played and am doing it now. Had played it on XBOX a couple of years ago. Sort of feels better this time around because I'm not rushing through it.

I finished my first pt a couple of months ago, and did all the origin stories. Still considering which Warden to use next when I get around to it...

I also just started a second play through on the PC. My first play through was on the Xbox and it left me dissatisfied. I didn't customize my characters correctly. After struggling and surviving on normal for most of the game, I had to play on easy for the rest and didn't really get into Awakenings or any of the DLC. Hoping with a little more patience and research, i'll get more out of it this time.

Really been thinking about getting back into this game and running another playthrough...but I only have the PC version at the moment and I hate using the keyboard and mouse for games.

Where do you purchase the DLC for the PC version?

Through http://dragonage.bio....com/dao/addon/ with Bioware points. But it might be cheaper getting the ultimate edition if you need to get several DLC.
I prefer a gamepad to keyboard and mouse. But I'm finding Dragon age to be a better experience with the keyboard and mouse.

Yeah, way better then the sequel. I've begun trying to finish playing as my Dalish Elf, and it's great to have that nostalgic value again.

Just re-downloaded last night.

Is it possible to start a playthrough without having all the DLC...such as Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar...and then be able to play those in the same playthrough once you get them?

Yes you can do that, the DLC locations will show up on your map after you purchase them mid-game.

Bought both games (DA:O and DA2) a couple of days ago and I must say: Why o why havnt i bought it back in 2009. It's a little gem this game (DA:O).
Wish i bought the ultimate edition though, but i wasn't sure if i would like it. Big mistake. O well, I guess i have to buy the DLC seperatly eventually.
