I've yet to acquire my game. Hopefully tomorrow if the release date holds true! I've been wondering my gender (I'm pretty sure about the RL one, but the one to go with in game makes me all confused!), and I thought if there are much differences in romancing options in the game? I tried to do some searching for information but all I could gather was bits and pieces.

Are there multiple romancing options for male, for female? Are there same sex romancing options, for male, for female? Difference in numbers?

If at all possible, try to avoid major spoilers in the reply, it would be appreciated!

There are four "available" party members: one straight and one bisexual member of each gender. So if your character is straight, s/he will have two people to choose from. If s/he is going for a same-sex relationship you only have one option.

Korva summed it up. There is one homosexual relationship for both male and female, and two heterosexual relationships for both male and female.
