Also, half the people in this thread who wanted the charge back are people who hate the weapon anyway and just want it to be more inconvenient to use for other people.

You're wrong.
We talk about BioWare being biower when they do something stupid.
For example, when they are forced to remove the mechanic they implemented.
Acolyte was desinged to be a charged weapon, it has a charge-up animation, removing the mechanic is like throwing working hours out of a window.

They finality prob found a source of code to "stop" suppress" etc. the MG from happening we'll see if it's a "true" fix

it''s a slight inconvenience i know. it's just way easier without it. i might as well enjoy it until the next balance changes. sometimes you want to put a shot in to freeze enemies by turning off your flamer.
